I have to step in on this one... I'm a B's fan, watched the game live, and couldn't believe the voting favored Miller. It's embarrassing. As much as I dislike the Habs, Prust clearly landed the only solid punches.... Miller's a strong, young kid, but Prust, and his experience, is too much for the rookie here.

Posted by nait on March 12, 2014 at 10:00 PM

is it just me or did Prust drop when he lost control? Nope he dropped

Posted by sedinfan on March 12, 2014 at 11:16 PM

Lots of Bruin fans on here and i love them to, but how there was 85% at a draw or win for Miller is beyond me. I though Prust landed a couple good uppercuts to try to get around the visor.

Posted by Bouli on March 13, 2014 at 12:14 AM

HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU GIVE THAT TO MILLAR?!?!?! Because he ended up on top at the end??? You guys are nuts. WAY TOO MANY BRUINS HOMERS ON HERE - Voting in droves. Win Prust. The only guy to land any shots.

Posted by boldbilly on March 13, 2014 at 08:03 AM

Brandon Prust with the win here. miller lands nothing.....Prust 3 uppercuts......without the visor miller would have been a much easier target..it's hard when you can only throw uppercuts. Prust was fighting hurt here he has major issues with his shoulder and it showed.........for the record this is Boston's first win against Montreal in 6 games.......they were 0 for 5 previous.......let's hope we draw Boston.....but we will need Price back in nets ************+++**************++++***********************++++*************+++***** This why most people don't like the Boston fans......in an obvious win for Prust voting for their stupid jersey is more important to them then their integrity. All we hear on this site are stupidities about how tough Kevan Miller is........it's Miller time etc.... Then not our heavy weight .... but our middle weight calls him out and tunes him up and not only does he beat him but you Dumb jerks rob him of the victory. Then we have to hear about how he is chicken and should be fighting Thornton or LUCIC.....who he has fought many times and is much smaller then both.......NO CLEARLY YOU PEOPLE ARE REEETAAAHDED So to be clear .......you brag about how tough Miller is .......he gets in a fight with our middle weight........he loses......you give him the win anyway.......and Prust is a coward ........because he fought a bigger guy and won.......he didn't fight Thornton or the very valuable LUCIC who surely would have fought Prust with his 30 pound advantage........yup sounds right if you are from Boston.......what a bunch of jerks

Posted by EdNo on March 18, 2014 at 03:45 PM

Prust landed the better punches in a fairly close fight... Miller is a pretty good fighter, but has nowhere near the experience of Prust; Miller was not expecting the uppercuts and leverage switches that allowed Prust to connect on the only real damaging shots durind the tilt... All that being said, I'm a Bruins Fan: WIN MILLER!! Lol go fuck yourself Murray, Billy and the rest of you Retaaded Ass-Clowns who don't know enough to worship the Hub

Posted by Great Murray on March 14, 2014 at 08:23 AM

Miller's lack of experience gives him a loss here. Prust jams a couple of uppercuts in and locks up Miller...he wins. I've come around the King Of Goons point of view...if you want to fight lose the visor! Because of the idiotic Boston homer vote, I don't even look at the fight first. If the vote is 60% or less for the Boston guy I know he lost the fight. It really is ridiculous boys.

Posted by chad420 on March 13, 2014 at 09:38 AM

Pruster edges Miller Light to hand him his 1rst NHL loss.....Huge win by the Bs....Looch was a beast

Posted by Biggus on March 12, 2014 at 10:03 PM

Prust solves the visor problem with uppercuts and dominates. Looks like he may have hurt his shoulder at the end.

Posted by King of Goons on March 12, 2014 at 10:05 PM

Not a fan of Prust, who I think is probably the most overrated fighter in the league, but I definitely like what he did in this fight. This Miller kid has looked really impressive in the few fights I've seen him in but Prust takes him to school in this one. Prust knows that Miller has a huge advantage because of the visor so Prust absolutely crushes him with several uppercuts, which seem to be the only way you can fight a visored opponent with any success. I hope Miller doesn't have any loose teeth. I still like Miller but I have the feeling that if he wasn't wearing a visor Prust would have really tuned him up even worse. Decisive win for Prust.

Posted by staceyb on March 13, 2014 at 08:56 AM

Down 2-0 Prust went out there looking for a fight and he found a worthy adversary in the person of Kevan Miller. Call it a D.

Posted by nojjon on March 12, 2014 at 10:07 PM

Draw, some good uppercuts by Prust but a draw.

Posted by Bruins170 on March 12, 2014 at 11:35 PM

Looked like a draw to me.

Posted by mahogoney10 on March 13, 2014 at 12:35 PM

3 good uppercuts by Prust, one of which really landed, but a sneaky sweater-grab jab by Miller seemed to hurt Prust and caused him to go down and not get up. I know sweater-jabs are kind of cheesy, but it did seem to hurt Prust. Draw, I guess.

Posted by bigmike53 on March 12, 2014 at 10:32 PM

Prust lands a couple nice uppercuts and Miller responds with a few punches and the takedown. This is a good experience for the young Miller who has proven to be tough as nails. This one's too close to call. Draw.

Posted by jerry s on March 13, 2014 at 05:04 AM

couple of shots landed for prust miller with the take down

Posted by Figment767 on March 28, 2014 at 10:39 AM

a good uppercut from Prust, but not enough to be anything. Miller with the pull down. just kind of eh

Posted by Weetie on March 12, 2014 at 11:47 PM

Don't understand why the votes are so lopsided? Only thing Miller scored is the takedown, Prust landed 2 uppercuts and one jab hit the visor. But still close so I call it a DRAW.

Posted by Happy2 on March 13, 2014 at 07:21 AM

Crap

Posted by tnarg62 on March 13, 2014 at 02:40 AM

not even gonna rate this one...fukkin visors suck...prusty

Posted by brianamoro on March 13, 2014 at 08:38 AM

Prust shows experience in tying up guys to land a couple, nothing serious lands but give him the edge

Posted by Silent Partner on March 13, 2014 at 07:01 AM

Seems like Prust connected with a few uppercuts Under the Visor. Miller only landed behind the head as Prust was dragged down to the ice. Win Prust !

Posted by HOCKEY GOD on March 14, 2014 at 12:53 AM

Boston homers. Apart from Miller trying to impregnate Prust at the end- NOTHING for Jack Meoff Edwards to whack off to. Easy win Prust.

Posted by legion31 on March 13, 2014 at 12:46 PM

2 nice uppercuts from Prust , nothing from Miller...... win Prust

Posted by mikebflorida on March 13, 2014 at 10:18 AM

How can you even take this website seriously anymore? You Boston fans are ridiculous as always. Stuffing the ballot box is an apt description. If this were Prust and Roussel, it would be a clear win for Prust. Prust lands the only 2 punches, 2 nice uppercuts to defeat the visored Mllar who I'd love to like as a player if he didn't have you idiot fans behind him. WIN PRUST.

Posted by kinga101 on March 16, 2014 at 03:44 PM

You have to disregard the voting tally whenever a Bruin is involved. Unfortunately that's just the way it is on this site. Prust with a couple of nifty uppercuts to get the clear decision.

Posted by ironbar44 on March 13, 2014 at 09:18 AM

If the fight was 30 seconds longer MILLER would have pounded.but for what it was PRUST land the one upper cut

Posted by endor on March 13, 2014 at 11:21 AM

No Rust on Brust!! Guy's got the biggest heart in the NHL. Will drop 'em with anybody!!! Narrow win to BP.

Posted by mr. puttzo on March 12, 2014 at 11:24 PM

Miller never landed a punch.

Posted by Willie Trognitz on March 13, 2014 at 12:14 AM

Voting heavily skewed here. Not a chance, Prust with win. Geez...

Posted by kurtenbach on March 12, 2014 at 11:41 PM

Prust landed only punch - an uppercut before being wrestled down to ice.

Posted by rocky 1 on March 13, 2014 at 04:16 PM

Win for Prust .Prust seemed bothered that he could not get the helmut of because of Millers wearing a visor!

Posted by ghjkfdhgfd on March 13, 2014 at 05:09 PM

Prust

Posted by GSP09 on March 14, 2014 at 02:35 PM

Prust wins easy. How can somebody say'' Prust landed more shots, but it is a draw''.That is plain stupid Bruins fan. As for the visor issue : Please read: MILLER HAS NO CHOICE HE HAS TO WEAR IT BEEING A FIRST YEAR PLAYER., AND GET OVER THE FRICKING VISOR ISSUE.

Posted by Grimm on March 13, 2014 at 09:23 AM

Win Prust. Bruin homers much? dang.

Posted by spinard on March 13, 2014 at 01:22 AM

Posted by ronjam03 on May 08, 2014 at 08:43 AM

win Prust...that being said, He did know that it was time to "lose his balance" once Miller got his hand free and started throwing

Posted by beanholestatus on March 25, 2014 at 08:35 PM

I fucking hate that announcer pierre, always has to tell you where they played junior hockey, I feel like the other announcer was trolling him by asking who the coach was that year, usually pierre would dive into that too.

Posted by simard3000 on March 13, 2014 at 12:49 AM

Easily Prust takes this one

Posted by hogie1 on March 14, 2014 at 07:49 AM

Voting here that your guy wins when he really loses does not change the actual result. Win Prust. Also, with all the questions about why does Prust not fight Thornton, I will also ask why does Thornton not challenge Scot sgain since Scot scrambled his brain, to even things up? He has had several chances.

Posted by gogrg on March 13, 2014 at 08:35 AM

Prust is probably the smartest fighter in the league, you dont usually see him in slug fests, but thats probably because he drops to the ice everytime he loses control

Posted by WereNotThatHabs on March 25, 2014 at 01:38 PM

close bout, prust with the non negligible shots, miller with the jerk-style take down. strong kid. gonna cause alot of trouble for the habs in the future

A few good uppercuts by Prust who controlled the fight.

Posted by soopersizeme on March 13, 2014 at 06:02 AM

I am a Bruins fan, and I have to agree with SouthPaw-call it for what it is. Win to Prust. (And I liked Thorton's admonishment to Prust afterward.)

Posted by jim_mckenzie33 on March 13, 2014 at 12:41 AM

You can't win a fight by eating a few uppercuts and getting the takedown. NAH. Prusty with the W over a tough young'n, who is a dude to watch no doubt.

Posted by dkdanielkli on March 13, 2014 at 12:22 AM

LOL not sure how Miller is the winner here. Prust with two big uppercuts wins this. Edge.

Posted by doobi1 on March 14, 2014 at 12:20 AM

Miller is not so bad after all now, is he? Prust winner!!

Posted by 87CROSBY87 on March 12, 2014 at 10:51 PM

Brenda "picks his spot" with a non fighter Thinking his prospects were brighter But he didn't surmise Miller WINS in a surprise The home folks ooh and aahh At nothing more than a DRAW Oh woe is me for the Brigade de Toilet Seat... Big Smile :)

Posted by sull69 on March 12, 2014 at 10:02 PM

Still haven't seen Prust win a fight. Draw, but only because Prust hit the dirt before Miller could get going. Like to see these two get it going again

Posted by DIRTYWATAH on March 12, 2014 at 10:07 PM

Miller with a good shot at the end. Interesting to see Thornton skate over to the box to give Prust an earful for I imagine not asking him to go.

Posted by mmadced on March 12, 2014 at 10:56 PM

As usualbrenda the puke picks a non fighter and could;nt win the fight. draw... prust pisses his pants and falls when miller fights back

Posted by pinchy on March 12, 2014 at 09:42 PM

draw all the way

Posted by moneybags on March 13, 2014 at 03:20 AM

I think Miller is gonna be a beast in this league...gets the win

Posted by nickfotiu on March 13, 2014 at 03:23 PM

I like Prust, but that was against the code to challenge a non enforcer like Miller. Miller can handle himself, but if Prust is looking to spark his team he needs to challenge the teams enforcer Thornton. If you watch the end Thornton had words with Prust in his box most likely discussing that notion. Prust won the fight landing 2 uppercuts, while Miller landed 1 to the helmet, however Miller wrestled him to the ground like he was a ragdoll. Miller is incredibly strong, just watch Behind the B and look at his physique. The guy can do 30 pull-ups. .ridiculous. Once he learns the technique of fighting he will pummel Prust.

Posted by Lucic_Power on March 12, 2014 at 11:46 PM

Prust bailed. its tough to get technical with a maniac like Miller.

Posted by shawnrocks on March 13, 2014 at 12:02 AM

prust layed down as soon as miller got free

Posted by Orr Fourever on March 12, 2014 at 11:04 PM

Miller with the win. I wonder if there's any truth to the rumour that the Canadian games will be broad cast on the history channel. Because all their fans do is talk about the past. Just wondering. @Boldbilly It won't matter if Price is in. Looked like the Bruins were just practicing.

Posted by cracor23 on March 13, 2014 at 02:47 PM

Prust dropped intentionally when he lost the upperhand... Wat a little bitch

Posted by Spinner55 on March 13, 2014 at 09:58 AM

Miller

Posted by whaleoil on April 11, 2014 at 02:32 AM

Prust with the better shots.

Posted by KevanMillerBoyz on March 13, 2014 at 10:03 AM

Kevan Miller is straight thuggin it right now

Posted by Rockem on March 15, 2014 at 06:57 PM

I don't listen to the Homer Hab announcers. I just look at the video. Miller took over the fight and was in the midst of annihilating Prust. Again, just because pathetic Homer announcers say Prust gets an uppercut in doesn't mean he won the fight. Notice the pathetic Homers stopped their dedicated play- by-play commenting of the fight, once Miller started raining punches down on Prust. Miller Won...ps: I'm not a Bruins fan either, just a hockeyfights.com viewer.

Posted by Boston Garden on March 13, 2014 at 12:41 AM

No visor excuse for Prust here. Prust picked a fight with Miller, not the other way around. He could have fought Campbell,Thornton,Chara, or Lucic who all don't wear visors...that's on Prust. Prust also conviently fell down when the fight turned against him. In other words, he bailed.

Posted by dub4502 on March 14, 2014 at 02:30 PM

Bruins fan here, Prust clearly won this fight no question. But if Prust is just looking for a fight to spark his team, rightfully so, why didn't he go after Thornton, it's not like Prust can't fight he knows how to handle himself. Though Looch has beaten Prust on several occasions, maybe that's why he was more careful picking his fight....

Posted by Jez-x on March 12, 2014 at 09:33 PM

Down 2-0 Prust thought he would get his team going(not going anywhere this year)thinking Miller would be an easy mark he thought wrong...Draw.

Posted by GreenLine on March 13, 2014 at 01:32 PM

Prust ducks Thornton and goes after the rookie...and still loses! The guy is soft. Win Miller.

Posted by Pug Face on March 12, 2014 at 10:57 PM

Visor in the way...miller fights better when angry. Kind of like lucic

Posted by Brewri on March 13, 2014 at 01:42 PM

Pretty close. Looks like Prust landed 2 punches and Miller landed 1. Not much of a fight.

Posted by English_Bruin on March 13, 2014 at 02:25 PM

Draw although prust landed the best shots

Posted by DARCY T on March 30, 2014 at 09:40 AM

both guys landed 2 punches.prust early,miller late....draw

Posted by NAILS13 on March 13, 2014 at 02:17 AM

If you're standing after uppercuts connect, that's a point in your favor. Still call it draw despite Prust dropping after a textbook jersey jab left on his button, and two real clean straight rights to his helmet. Visor debate has become boring. Just a part of the game now. Get over it.

Posted by Orielly on April 18, 2014 at 01:03 PM

Prust was glad that was over. Miller never got his hands loose for Prusts sake. You could see how much stronger KM was when he put him on the ice with one hand. Easy draw as it never gets going.

Posted by B-Bear on March 15, 2014 at 08:30 PM

Draw

Posted by stevemcgraw1 on March 13, 2014 at 11:18 AM

Not much of a fight. Call it a draw.

Posted by Z.Zalapski on March 15, 2014 at 09:08 PM

Prust is the man. Good on him getting under that stupid visor and getting some licks in. The only coward in this scrap is the guy fighting with a damn visor on.

Posted by hockeyrules999 on March 12, 2014 at 10:53 PM

Prust with one or two good uppercuts, Miller with nothing. Ballot box being stuffed again...

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on March 15, 2014 at 12:41 AM

Prust dominated Miller.

Posted by cjppf on March 21, 2014 at 11:03 AM

Prust win but he is lucky that Miller decided not to tag him at the end. Some guys would have. I hate the Bruins but I think if there are future rematches Miller would beat Prust more often than not. Smart win for Prust.

Posted by kari takko on March 13, 2014 at 11:42 PM

uppercut. prust.

Posted by Markiz77 on March 13, 2014 at 03:53 AM

Not sure How Miller gets the nod here, Prust with 2 uppercuts takes this.

Posted by kkdowning on March 14, 2014 at 10:38 AM

Prust proves he is a wiley veteran and, while perhaps over matched physically, wins by fighting smart.

Posted by grrbronco81 on March 13, 2014 at 10:26 AM

Nice Upper by Prust.

Posted by Hitem hard on March 13, 2014 at 09:57 AM

One really good punch in fight lands from Prust. Miller lands nothing, thus Prust wins, that simple.......

Posted by camax on March 13, 2014 at 08:46 AM

Prust got the best shots in Miller didin't hit the target or on top at the end but no hurt....adv. Prust with the uppercut

Posted by Cid on March 12, 2014 at 10:54 PM

So to spark his team Brandon Prust a 4th line guy goes out against the opposing teams 4th line and goes and fights rookie Miller of all people??? Hey Brandon.... Thornton was right there looking for you. No wonder he was chirping you after the bout. After this fight the Bruin's go and score 2 more. Prust = Fail. With regards to the fight. Prust obviously with the experience factor and had the better jersey grab and better control. Landed a solid uppercut. Miller hung in tough and landed a few jabs of his own and scored the take down. Seemed to me that when Miller took control and was about to unload Prust kind of helped himself down to the ice. Bit of a bail if you ask me. Whereas Miller wanted more after losing the initial exchange. Props to the kid. Glad we didn't have to witness the two aging old men go at it, personally. Thorts and Prust would have hugged each other to death. DRAW.

Posted by Massive Coiler on March 13, 2014 at 12:44 AM

I don't quite understand the voting here, because Prust was throwing some pretty heavy uppercuts. I'm gonna vote draw, Prust landed the best shots, but he also pulled the parachute pretty early.

Posted by blaster on March 13, 2014 at 03:00 PM

Punching some one's visor does not constitute a win and as a result Miller with the slight edge.
