After the whistle, the two glance over at one another and decide to drop the gloves. They grab ahold of each other and Clowe's helmet pops right off while they grapple. Greene throws three quick rights and pushes Clowe up against the boards before throwing two more rights. They wrestle around for a moment and Clowe gets an arm free, throwing an uppercut. They grapple some more and Greene falls to the ice with the linesmen right there to end the fight. Other Penalties: Ales Hemsky received a hooking.

Grier runs into Marty Turco behind the net, prompting Boucher to go right after him. Boucher shoves him twice and the two drop the gloves. Boucher loses his balance and goes down to a knee, allowing Grier to four lefts to the back of his helmet. Boucher gets back up to his feet and Grier lands a short right inside while the two are in tight. The two then wrestle around until the linesmen come in and end the fight. Other Penalties: Grier received a charging.

They drop the gloves right in front of the benches and quickly grab on to one another. Tollefsen throws two rights to start things off and Smith responds with a left. The two exchange simultaneous right hands and Tollefsen proceeds to land three straight rights that knock Smith's helmet loose. Smith switches hands and starts throwing rights in defense while Tollefsen continues to pump away. Smith then lands two rights to the back of Tollefsen's head before they fall to the ice and are broken up by the linesmen.

Weber checks Bell against the boards and keeps on skating. Bell gets up, skates after him and issues the challenge. They drop the gloves and grab on to each other. They size each other up and Weber throws two rights that Bell ducks away from. Bell tries a right uppercut that misses and then Weber counters with an overhand right that Bell avoids. Bell's movement causes them to drop to their knees, but they get up before the linesmen can intervene. Bell quickly throws a right uppercut as Weber shakes off an elbow pad. Bell then throws a couple of straight lefts, neither appearing to connect and then loses his balance. Weber gets in a couple of lefts as Bell pulls him down. The linesmen come in as Weber gets in one more left for good measure.

Sarich runs over Patrick Rissmiller along the boards causing Murray to take exception and challenge Sarich behind the play. They drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other with Murray throws three rights and three uppercuts while Sarich tries to get loose and move away from the punches. Murray gets Sarich bent over and hammers him to the ice with six unanswered rights. The linesmen are forced to come in and send the two to their respective sin bins.

Montador dumps the puck into the San Jose zone takes a hit from Clowe. They drop the gloves and Clowe starts off with a right while pinned up against the boards. They move away from the boards Clowe gets his right freed up enough to land an uppercut and then a quick overhand shot. Montador responds with a left and they start to spin while Clowe throws some rights. Montador is trying to throw more lefts, but loses his balance and falls to the ice allowing the linesmen to come in and break it up.

Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other. Clowe throws two rights while Jackman pumps away with a series of jersey-jabs. Clowe throws another right and an uppercut and Jackman throws four more jersey-jabs. Jackman switches hands and throws a short left just before he goes back to the right and throws two right crosses. Clowe answers with four rights during the flurry and Jackman throws a right. Clowe throws two uppercuts and Jackman misses with a right, losing his balance and falling forward to the ice. Clowe connects with a right while Jackman is on his way down and the linesmen quickly jump on top of the two and grab them once they hit the ice.

Towards the end of the game these two drop the gloves right after a faceoff. Kostopoulos' helmet comes off right away as they grapple in tight, up against the boards. Kostopoulos takes Bell's helmet off while they wrestle and Bell gets his right free, but comes up short with an overhand shot. Kostopoulos responds with a couple of wild rights that Bell ducks away from. Bell switches hands and lands a couple of lefts as Kostopoulos gets twisted around and falls to the ice. Bell switches hands again and throws another right as he falls with Kostopoulos. The linesmen are right there to break it up.

Davison hits Tyler Arnason hard into the boards from behind twice in a row causing Laperriere to charge at Davison and drop his gloves. Laperriere grabs ahold of Davison, who drops his mitts as well, but the two quickly fall to the ice and the linesmen intervene. The two are given roughings and are sent to the penalty box. As soon as they get out of the boxes, they drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other at center ice. They exchange a good amount of jersey-jabs until Davison throws two rights while they spin around. Laperriere ties Davison up and throws five short rights just before Davison returns fire with another right. Davison throws an overhand right to the back of Laperriere's helmet and then slams his opponent to the ice, causing the linesmen to jump on top and grab them.

They struggle to get loose for a bit and Eager finally gets free, throwing two rights while Bell tries to move away from the punches. Bell is able to remove Eager's helmet and Eager throws an uppercut and a right. Eager drags Bell farther down ice and misses with a right, allowing Bell to take advantage and throw a left. Eager gets Bell turned around and throws three overhand rights to the back of Bell's head. Bell then suddenly lets go, sending Eager crashing into the boards. The linesmen step in and the two are sent to their respective penalty boxes.

Bell hits Alexandre Picard hard into the boards with Picard's face hitting the partition. Kane drops his gloves and goes right after Bell, forcing Bell to shed his mitts as well. The two wrestle around while Picard remains face down on the ice. Bell eventually throws an uppercut and they are stuck in a very awkward position before Kane turns around and pushes Bell to the ice. The linesmen come in and separate them. Other Penalties: Kane received an instigator and misconduct; Bell a boarding.

Shortly after the faceoff the two drop the gloves and square off in front of the Anaheim net. Parros grabs ahold of Parker and Parker strikes first, landing a body shot. Parros throws three rights and two exchange a simultaneous pair of rights after that. Parros switches things up and connects with a left jab. Parros throws two rights that hit Parker's helmet and Parker connects with another body shot. They exchange a couple of rights and Parros tries to take Parker's helmet off. At the same time, Parker gets Parros' jersey up and over his head and lands a body shot and a right just before the linesmen come in.

Clowe gets the arm up on Ryan Smyth and Matt Greene challenges him immediately. The drop the gloves and grab on to each other immediately. They start to grapple against the boards as Clowe gets in a few rights. Clowe wrestles Greene to his knees, but Greene is able to get back up and they wrestle some more. Clowe gets his right out from under his jersey and starts to land a couple of rights, one popping off Greene's helmet. Greene attempts to counter with some left jersey-jabs. They look like they're about to wrestle some more, but lock up as though someone hit pause and the linesmen come in to break it up.

Behind the play the two drop the gloves and quickly grab ahold of each other. Marleau throws three short rights while Ballard tries to get an arm free. Marleau throws three more rights and tries to take Ballard's helmet off just before he throws another right that hits helmet. Marleau finally does take Ballard's helmet off, but Ballard fires back with a right. Marleau responds with a right that Ballard ducks under. Marleau then wrestles Ballard down to the ice and gets in a short right while they're falling. The linesmen are right there to end the fight shortly after.

They get tangeled up along the boards and Clowe strikes first with a right cross. They wrestle around for a moment and Laperriere gets loose, throwing two lefts with one connecting. Clowe struggles to get an arm free but finally does and misses with a right uppercut. Clowe connects with two short rights and Laperriere does the same with lefts. Laperriere then grabs Clowe and they get tied up in an awkward position. Laperriere opens things up a right and an uppercut just before Clowe throws an overhand left and Laperriere falls to the ice. The linesmen then quickly intervene and end the fight. Other Penalties: Laperriere received a roughing.

Davison falls on top of him, but they quickly get back up to their feet. A linesman comes in and tries to break it up, but they continue to fight, both of them throwing a right. Davison then throws two rights and a jersey-jab while Gratton is bent over. They both miss wide with right crosses and Davison lands a jab just before they exchange rights once more. Davison then connects with a right that knocks Gratton off-balance and to the ice. Davison lands another right while they are down and the linesmen rush over to break things up.

They then go toe-to-toe with a few pauses in between: Barch stays with the left; Clowe goes with the right. Clowe ends the exchange by wrestling Barch to the ice. The linesmen then quickly skate on in and break things up.

Lindros falls down for a moment, but gets back up and then goes after Murray, cross-checking him. Murray challenges Lindros and drops his gloves, as well as taking off his helmet, but Barch skates in gloves off, and locks horns with Murray. Murray throws an overhand right to begin the scrap and Barch connects with two short rights after that. Murray comes back with two rights, the second sending Barch's helmet flying. Barch returns fire with a right and shakes off his elbow pad. Murray throws two rights and an uppercut just before Barch lands a right cross. They then exchange locked-out rights until Barch is flipped to the ice by Murray. The linesmen then intervene and the fight quickly ends. Other Penalties: Barch received an instigator and misconduct; Murray a high sticking; Eric Lindros a cross checking.

Parker actually catches one of Parros' mitts and throws it into the crowd. After a good amount of shadow boxing they grab ahold of one another and each exchange a couple of rights. Parros goes to throw another right, but as he does he loses his balance and falls to the ice. Parker gets in a left while Parros tries to get back up to his feet, but the linesmen are right there to break things up.

Parros then throws another right to Parker's head, but loses his balance and falls down to the ice, bringing Parker with him.

Clowe attempts a couple of locked-out rights, but nothing comes of it. Mayers then fakes with the right and throws a left that just misses, allowing Clowe to connect with an overhand right to the side of Mayers' helmet. Mayers loses his balance and falls to the ice. Mayers starts to get back up, but Clowe lands an uppercut followed by a straight right. Mayers throws a wild right that misses the target and Clowe gets in two more rights while Mayers falls to the ice for the last time. The linesmen jump on top and Clowe stands right up, examining his injured right hand.

Right off of the faceoff the two drop the gloves and square off at center ice. Parker grabs ahold of King and throws a right that hits King's helmet. King comes back with two rights and Parker returns fire with a body shot that lands. King knocks Parker's helmet off and they exchange a series of jersey-jabs. Parker throws an overhand right followed by a straight right. King connects with a straight right and they go back and forth with rights until Parker switches hands and connects with a left. They grapple in-tight for a short while until Parker throws three rights to the back of King's helmet. They exchange short rights and Parker loses his balance for a short second, going down to a knee. That allows the linesmen to grab ahold of them just as they are falling to the ice and break things up.

They grab ahold of each other and McLaren throws two long rights just before Barch spins to his knees. McLaren gets in two more rights while Barch is knelt down. Barch stands back up and blocks another right with his forearm. Barch throws a right that just misses and then switches hands, throwing a right. Barch shakes off his elbow pad and throws an uppercut. McLaren then drives him into the boards and the linesmen are right there to intervene and break things up.

Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and square off next to the side boards. They grab ahold of each other and are quick to remove one another's helmet. Barch throws a right to the side of Bell's head just as Bell shoves Barch against the glass. They move away from the boards and Barch throws a flurry of six body shots and an overhand right. Bell responds with an overhand right that misses over the top, allowing Barch to throw two more rights. They then go back and forth with rights until Bell goes down to a knee with his jersey up and over his head. Bell stands back up, but the linesmen are right there to grab them and prevent anything else from happening.

Behind the play they drop the gloves and grab onto each other next to the benches. Sim tries an overhand right that hits the side of Bell's helmet. Bell comes back with an uppercut that hits Sim's shoulder while Sim turns away from Bell. Sim sticks his head down and tries three times to get underneath Bell's left arm and stay there, but each time Bell is able to hold him off. Bell throws a right to the top of Sim's head and then pulls Sim's jersey up and over his head. Bell then connects with an uppercut and a right cross and quickly sends Sim to the ice. Bell lets go immediately and starts to skate to the penalty box. Sim remains down on the ice for a moment until he is helped to his feet by one of the linesmen.

Murray gets turned around, but quickly reverses that position and takes Gratton's helmet off in the process. Gratton gets Murray's helmet off and they go back and forth with a couple of short rights while they grapple. Murray throws two more rights and Gratton responds with four rights to the back of Murray's head while Murray pushes Gratton into the boards. They continue to exchange overhand rights and body shots while leaning over the benches until the linesmen finally decide to intervene and the end the fight. Other Penalties: Gratton received a cross checking.

Clowe comes back with a right and Thornton shakes off his elbow pad. They exchange simultaneous rights that just miss and Clowe responds with two more rights of his own. Thornton throws a right, leans back, and then throws another right that lands. Clowe returns fire with two lefts and Thornton is able to duck underneath Clowe's right arm. They wrestle around for a short moment in an awkward position and Thornton throws a left to the side of Clowe's head once they adjust themselves. Thornton switches hands and they go back and forth with a mix of rights and jersey-jabs until the linesmen decide to intervene and end the fight.
