I have to give it to Chara,
if only for having to fight 3 players, and a goalie.

I would have nailed that big ape square in the beak While he was laying FLAT on his back!!!!! LMAO

And felt good about it..............Chara took the first swing with 2 seconds left and anytime in the Playoffs you might be able to agravate a star players injury because he"s acting like a fool.......YA DO IT!!!!!!!

Hey jointman......Chara is a HUGE APE!!!!! I had to put this because he messaged me and said he would speak badly about my mama if I called him an APE again............PLEASE PLEASE DON'T HURT MY FEELINGS

Not really a fight, so ill call it a draw. Would have liked to see Miller whip on Satan though

Not a fight and the 3 on 1 action should bolster Buffalo's tough guy image. Chara vs Buffalo = draw (Dirty Winger makes the point in his post, as does bostongeorge).

BoxerLAVENDER5....stop gargling with bong water. Don't care for Chara and Gaustad is worse but toe-to-toe Chara would beat the snot out of Gaustad just like Thornton and Rupp earlier this year.

How do you vote for a non-fight? Draw.

The Sabres are a team full of punks, led by Gaustad and Kaleta. They've been getting away with murder after the whistle for this entire series. I was hoping Chara would do this much earlier in the series.

So here's a recap: Gaustad fires a slapshot at Chara as time expires when all he needed to do was bank the puck off the boards, and then he slashes him on the back of the leg after that. Then, when Chara decides to face him one-on-one, Rivet and the goon #8 tackle him. If that's not the definition of 3rd-man-in, i don't know what is. How anyone can watch this sequence of events and blame Chara is beyond me. Chara was the only honorable one in this entire fiasco. The guy won the Norris trophy last year. He knows how valuable he is on the ice so he always does everything he can to avoid fighting. From what I've seen over the pst few years, whenever he fights, it's long overdue and more than justified. This situation is no exception.

The NHL needs to get rid of the instigator rule altogether so that little punks like Gaustad and Kaleta don't go around taking cheap shots without any repercussions.

this is classic Buffalo cowardice. i gave the win to Chara just because a draw is too good for the Buffalo Sissys. i Bruin should have ripped Millers mask off an beat the snot out of him.

this isn't even a fight. Chara was a goon and tried punching Gaustad and totally missed and then got taken down. Goose would have wrecked him, he's tried fighting chara several times but Chara is a b.i.t.c.h.

Zdeno Chara vs the Buffalo Sabres. Nothing here can be considered a fight, however. Roughing at best...

this really isn't a fight. Chara flails wildly and then gets tackled. Bruins have 6 skaters to Buffalos 4 so Miller gets involved.

I love how the sabres wanted chara suspended for instigating...what about the slash behind the legs? wake up lindy..what would you have done when you were playing!
