Godard edges out Orr in my books. 1. George Laraque 2. Wade Belak 3. Eric Godard 4. Colton Orr 5. Derek Boogaard 6. Donald Brashear 7. Zdeno Chara 8.

Nothing solid landed? Goddard machine gunned 3 straight blows to the head and puts one of the premier NHL fighters on his heels and nothing solid landed? 10-8 win for Goddard, Orr was game (as always for a #1 guy ) but he landed little.

Godard seems to be getting the hang of Orr. He really seemed familiar with his style and adapted well to it. He gets the nod here, but Orr had his moments too.

I usually try not to look at the voting before viewing the fight, but in this one, I was expecting a dominant Godard win. Godard did land a great series of punches early in the fight, but it was relatively even throughout and ended without a decisive winner. DRAW.

Draw. Orr seems to do a lot better than most against Godard.

I''ll give Godard the slightest of edges here in the dullest scrap these two have ever had. Oh and Godard is not the #1, anyone who lost to Cote is automatically DQ'ed for top dog consideration....

neiljc, he didn't own him in this scrap.

Not saying Godard should not be considered, just saying (as you did) that Cote lost most of his this year, The #1 should not lose to the likes of Cote this year. BTW, no coma, I've been paying attention all year, you should try it yourself since you seemed to miss the scrap above.
