Cote continues to lose fights. I now think he was overrated as a fighter and really belongs in the AHL. Boulton showed patience and stamina and dominated the end of this fight. He landed one great punch on Cote and I was surprised Cote remained standing. Cote does have a great chin...he is going to need it if he keeps losing.

Close fight. Did Cote try and play some defense? weird. Win Boulton. mcb789 you are becoming worse than CHRISNEILANOTOR.

I freakin' love Cote man, win or lose, he fights with so much energy and is always exciting. Win to Boulton in this one though.

Cote can take a shot! Boulton with the win!

Boulton simply manhandled Cote here. Anyone who voted for a draw or win Cote would more than likely suck Cote's crank if given half a chance. Retarded homers.

For as much as Cote fights, you'd think he'd be better at it than he shows. I like the fact that he's willing to take punches, but he never really damages his opponent.

Like in this fight, the only thing Boulton hurt was his hand.

Boulton wins. Cote took some hard shots at the end.

Plain and simple for all the simple minds out there, Boulton gets the "W". Boulton does indeed get "real close" in the 1st half and then lets them go in the 2nd half. Cote loves to start swinging right away and you have to wait him out or he'll tag you a thousand times before you get anything going and then it''s too late.

Having your arm free makes it a whole lot easier to swing - Win for Boulton.
As for Cote, he did seem a bit more hesitant than usual. Besides sometimes giving up a few inches and pounds (not with Boulton) I think the other danger for him is that he has an all out style and only throws lefts. Probably 75% of his partners are going right, so it's either kill or be killed when that happens and right now it's the latter.

Is Cote hurt? More defense then usual.

Win Boulton, but MAJOR props to Cote for being able to take such hits without dropping. Glad to know he doesn't have a glass jaw.

Typical Homer comments from the Flyers gallery. They couldn't see the truth if it hit them in the face. Decent scrap but definately not a draw. "W" to Bolt.

Good fight. Edge to Boulton good job of slipping right hand out of jersey.

I wish we could have seen a rematch. This scrap was even until Boulton got his arm out of his sleeve. Even though his tie - down didn't come loose I still thought that a misconduct was handed out when that happened. Riley hardly had a chance when Eric had no elbow pad, no jersey and Riley had nothing to grab. I could actually see giving the decision to Riley based on the fact that Eric should have knocked him out with the advantage. Two very good scrapper and I look forward to the next one.
