I'm not a Colton Orr fan but he is quite impressive this year--I watch the MSG telecasts on NHL Center Ice and it seems that every Garden game Orr will scrap with a noted heavyweight on the other team early in the contest. It puts a charge into the crowd.

I think Orr wins, but it was closer than it look on the surface. A lot of Orr's punches missed or landed on the helmet. Godard landed a couple solid shots as well. It looked like Godard was wide open for an uppercut. Orr could have really dinged him, but Orr kept throwing the crosses. When the announcer says something like " Orr hurt his hand right there". Orr may have hurt his hand, but it looked like Godard landed a very nice body shot at the same time. Just after that Godard gets in a little better position and lands a couple head shots.

If Godard lands a big right in a fight, he very dangerous. When he can't get the big punch off, it ends up being a fight like this.

Godar and Orr two guys that are tough to figure out......Godard looks so confident against the big boys like MacIntrye and Boogy and fights in fear of Orr seemingly due to one big punch a few years ago that has had him on defense ever since against the other Orr

and Orr is so hot and cold....some nights i think he is making his move other nights not

Orr by a wide margin to his personal door mat??

Well this was a beauty. In my VERY humble opinion, the two best fighters in the league right now. Please don't insult me now, I'm not a homer, I'm a Flyers fan! (The word "homer" is getting a little old too I'd say). Anyways, I didn't even know Godard was in the game until I heard the announcer yelling. Orr got off many more shots, especially one gigantic bomb to the back of Godard's helmet while Godard was trying to lose the elbow pad. Godard landed a couple more quality shots to Orr's mug me thinks, but all told, I am voting a very slight win for Orr, although I can totally understand this going any of the three possible ways for a result.

Orr gets the W for the mass quantity if punches thrown and connected

I disagree with the review on the main page - almost all of Orrs "blows" hit helmet...Godard had his on the entire fight and it actually may have cost Orr more than Godard (injured hand vs supposedly losing the fight)...

Orr threw way more and was trying to pound godard but i dont think he landed many flush punches

First off- I gave the fight to Orr because he controlled the fight landed more punches and got the takedown
Second- Godard couldn't beat Orr if his life depended on it. Don't know why, Orr just has his number for some reason.
Third- Orr definitely did not DOMINATE this fight as many of you morons have said.
Punch count for Orr was- Thrown 33, landed 3 maybe 4 (couldn't tell if 1 landed because of the camera angle). Good showing for both guys. Both are probably in the top 5-7 heavys in the NHL.

Goddard got beat down, also does goddard have his helmut glued to his head.it never comes off.But orr beat him soundly right to the ice.Ya orr hurt his hand, but thats what makes him a warrior, reading goerge larocks blog is like reading about a big guy who weighs 275 and makes a mill a year but fights to stay around forever not the heat of the moment or the thrill of the scrap, just so he can do steroids body build and fight 4 times a year,he even said he ducked dave brown, now thats a warrior, not,he is no old time enforcer, orr fights like he means it.

These are the top two heavies in the league right now! Vicious brawlers to the core who love to fight! Orr threw alot more punches but I can't believe Godard didn't knock him out with that wicked right cross, these guys are some of the most dangerous people walking the planet.

Orr threw a lot more punches, and they were haymakers, but hardly landed any. Most that did land were on the back of Godard's helmet. Just because a guy throws tons of punches doesn't mean he wins. Draw
