Derek Boogaard with his best fight of the season.

This was fun game to watch, almost with a playoffs atmosphere. The Wild fans were all pumped up and you'd have thought they were going to explode when their team won in OT.

a textbook Boogy win not letting the shorter man get inside and get going....long bombs not sure if anything landed to the face but Shelly lost a piece off his helmet with one blow....Boogy is a load when he's motivated

clear win Boogaard

I don't care much for Boogaard, but man is he great. Every time he fights I think more than any other fighter out there right now, there is such huge potential for a KO. The guy's a monster. Not that he dominated this fight really, but I still gave him the win. A scary man.

Boogard is a Colassal. Shelley stood in there but Boogard had the better scrap and gets the W

Shelley just couldn't handle him. Boogaard has too much size. He should be destroying everybody!

You know, I was really dreading this game. Although I have no respect for The Mutant as a hockey player (but that isn't what this forum is about, is it?)-there are tough guys like Probert, Shelley, McSorley, even Brashear that can, or could play some-he's so big and strong that I knew my guy was in for trouble regardless of how good a year he's having. At least he was willing, as he always is, and didn't get killed. Win for Boogaard.

Gee Cambric, thanks for clarifying things. What a fool.

Boogaard: The bane of helmet manufacturers everywhere.

Boogaard won the fight but most of his punches didn't land.

Win for Boogard but not nearly as impressive as the announcers made it seem. Went from bloodying Shelly to knocking out a tooth to knocking a piece from his helmet. I think Boogard is one of the most over-rated fighters in the league.

this wasn't the runaway victory the anouncers made it out to but but the boogey man still gets a "W".

*boogey needs to work on his balance he looks like a newborn calf wobblin around ou there...*

Hopefully everyone actually watched this fight until the end and see that Booger lands 1 punch to the helmet and nothing else of consequence. Shelley doesn't really land anything either.

DRAW

The Booger slurpers are obviously out in full force today. lol Should I expect anything less? The guy hasn't done squat this season but people still will him to victories despite him doing nothing.

I am not a "Boogie Man" fan but what a shot. Against a guy like Shelly got to give him his "props"
