Godard throws a check in the Panther's corner. Charging call. Mediocre delayed penalty going on. Panthers bring the puck up the ice. Webb throws a check too. No-no in this game. Another penalty. Isles touch the puck, whistle blown, players start coming together. Andreas Lilja grabs onto Eric Godard and Godard sheds the gloves. A few punches from Godard connect ok, but Lilja is not shaken and responds with a few of his own. Godard is trying to throw and falls to a knee. He gets up and cracks Lilja with a right sending him towards the ice. Lilja gets up promptly, but the linesmen have already rushed in.
