Andreas Lilja vs Sheldon Souray

Looks like Souray landed a decent shot in the beginning. But Lilja landed a real hard one at the end. Slight edge to Lilja.

I don't think anything reeeally landed there. I agree though about voting with any bias, I mean, I HATE the way bum Janssen fights but I'll still give him the win if he wins the fight, and I'll vote my boy Cote for the loss if he loses. It only makes sense! As far as this one, well, Souray has been good for my sporting news pool, and I'm always happy when a guy like Lilja is willing to drop the gloves with a guy like Souray. I called it a draw.

First off, nice tie down Sheldon, when it comes up that easy it was never tied down. Second, you swung for the fences and missed on every one. Third, despite having a "real fighter" in Lilja for an opponent, you let a big right hand thrown from somewhere near Halifax bounce off your forehead to knock you down. C'mon, you're better than that!

this should be a draw. souray swing a few gets a couple and looses his balance. lilja gets the best shot of the fight but it ain't enuff for a "W" guys. it just makes it a draw.

for those who says lilja landed a good punch at the end, LOOK AGAIN, it was on the helmet. guys if your not sure after u see the fight for the 1st time look at it again. so no puchs landed for either guys clear draw. good for lilja souray falls on the ice because souray can fight, ask darren mccarthy...

Honestly I am Detroit Red Wings Fan, But Lilja is not a Fighter by any means. I think Souray should have destroyed him. When the fight started I even yelled "Lilja NO!!!" but he surprised me by even surviving. As for the fight itself, Souray didn't reallt connect with much. The hit by Lilja was harder than it looked if you look it more just grazed of the front of Souray and knocked him off balance, but since Lilja got the Take down very slight edge to Lilja.

nice to see lilja drop the gloves which he does not do too often.

all i can say is i think it was lilja wit the edge..and THANK GOD we didnt have to see huggy bear fight instead of souray!!!

The one punch Lilja connects with hits helmet, and it manages to knock down Souray.

Not a great fight, lilja didn't land **** at the end either, Sheldon lost his balance and Lilja fell on top of him
