Comments: Behind the play they find each other and decide to drop the gloves. They grab ahold of each other, pause for a moment, and then start going back and forth with rights. Shelley knocks King's helmet off during the exchange. They tie up in close quarters and King takes Shelley's helmet off. They go toe-to-toe with rights for a second and King follows up with one more after Shelley stops throwing. Shelley throws a right that misses and they grapple in tight. King gets in a left and two short rights in close. Shelley responds with a short left. They each throw a right to the back of the head just before the linesmen move in. Shelley skates back to the dressing room.

King did not bust open anything, Shelley got cut in the game on Wednesday and had to get stitches. That why Shelley was cut. However Shelley did look rusty and did not have a good fight. Usually he is in the top ten of the league for fighting and this fight was the first of the season. King defiantly got the better of him even though he did not cut Shelly. These two teams have five more games this season. I think we will see these do go at it again.

Good start. Shelley went for the brashear hug, though, as King wanted to keep it gong. King gets the win.

Started out as a good fight and then they kept hanging on each other.

King gets the win for drawing blood.

King opened him up good, ouch! I really like this King, I would love to see him and BGL go at it in the future.

It was a great fight until King popped Shelley square on the cheek. Then Shelly got hung up on shedding his elbow pad and drifted in close. It was all King once the hugging began except for one good bop from Shelly near the end. King in a semi-close one.

Clutch and grab,MMA takedown woud have made it better.

King wins another fight...Shelley was leaking pretty good which caused him to have to leave the ice and get a stitch or two. Those two haven't seen the end of each other...looking forward to their next bout!!

In the first toe to toe exchange, it looked as if King landed a nice bomb which broke skin on Shelly's face. Win King here, good fight from the beginning.

A fight that was just a fight no hard hits or anything to precipitate it.
They both open with solid rights, King takes one on the helmet which dislodges it ,but he returns fire with some solid shots to Shelley's face. After Shelley's helmet comes off King lands at least one right straight to the face, after that Shelley is ducking and holding. Prior cut or not Shelley is leaking blood at a good pace before retiring to the dressing room for repairs. Definite win to King.

Boring end, but good start.
A good fight though.
King got the narrow win.

Shelley never gets started, but either way King put out a lot of quick connecting lefts with Shelley not really responding. Gotta give it to King.

King landed some punches that busted Shelley up - busted up enough to skate to the dressing room for repairs.

Decent fight between a couple of big boys.

Win: King

Disappointing- these guys made what should have been a good bout into a hug fest. Oprah must have been proud!
