Oct 11, 2007 Atlanta Thrashers Eric Boulton
3pd 19:13 Buffalo Sabres Paul Gaustad
Behind the play they drop the gloves and quickly grab ahold of each other. Boulton loses his balance and falls to the ice with Gaustad landing on top. Gaustad gets in two rights while they are going down, causing Boulton flip him over and get in some rights of his own. They exchange a few more rights each on the ice until the linesmen jump in and break things up.

What has happened to fighting like men and squaring off?! This was as weak as it gets, with Boulton throwing shots at Gaustad while he's down on the ice...YGBSM!! Where is the honor in throwing down on a guy when he's flat on his back on the ice?? I guess I would expect no less from a marginal hockey player like Boulton...someone explain to me how this guy keeps a job in the NHL...

Barely a scrap. At first, I thought it was a ***** move for Gaustad to throw punches while Boulton was on the ice. But the replay clearly shows Boulton was the first to try to throw em while they were both down on the ice. That's a draw if I've ever seen one.

Gaustad got Boulton down first but then Boulton flipped him and started to wail on him. Tough to vote either one a winner so they get a draw from me. I could be a little biased though because I think Boulton is a chicken, remember he backed down from Laraque multiple times last year in a game.

Not the best fight of the whole world, lol.
Gaustad immediately goes for the takedown(booo!).
He landed one, then Boulton gets top of him and landed a few.
But Gaustad landed one, though, as he was down on his back.
Boulton got the edge, though.

What's really sad is that Ilya's fight looked better than this one. Obviously eveyone needs to take a boxing class or two

Not much of a scrap although Boulton gave 3 knuckle sandwiches while Gaustad was on his back .

Boulton is such a douchebag. Way to pound someone who isn't even in his class while he is down on the ice.

LOSER

Gaustad has a real nice guard. Looked like he was inviting Boulton into it, probably would try to roll a couple times and submit him with a gogo plata or... opps. Sorry. thought it was UFC with them rolling on the ice and throwing. My mistake.
