Comments: Armstrong nails Saku Koivu with a hit behind the net, sending him sprawling to the ice. Armstrong skates down ice and Souray quickly chases after him, grabbing him from behind. Souray wrestles Armstrong to the ice and pounds him with a right and two lefts while they are down. The linesmen immediately rush in and after a little bit of work, get them separated after they exchange some words. Other Penalties: Souray received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct. Colby Armstrong did not receive a fighting major.

The calls made by the officials were way too harsh! Souray did the right thing by standing up for Koivu who is a finesse player... not a fighter!

it sucked that we had a 7 minute disadvantage, but sourray did the right thing, we need a player like that. bring back odie (odelein) and we can see more of that again.

I'm in mourning at the loss of Souray, I can't believe he's no longer a Hab.

Anyway it was a clean hit but Souray did the right thing in the situation.

good for souray for defending his captain, the instigator rule is horse-sh*t. its too bad souray is an awful defencemen though, mark my words he is the next bryan mccabe.
p.s. montreal fans say bye hes gone at the end of the year
