Comments: Armstrong levels Sami Kapanen along the boards, causing Baumgartner to go right after him. They drop the gloves and each throw a couple of short rights. Armstrong throws some more rights while Baumgartner struggles to get loose. Armstrong then switches to the left and lands a number of shots to the helmet and the side of Baumgartner's head while he tries to move away from the punches. Baumgartner switches to the left as well and throws two of his own. The two then grapple for a short moment just before Armstrong throws three rights that hit their target. Baumgartner responds with a left and the linesmen move in shortly after. Other Penalties: Baumgartner received an instigator and misconduct.
