From both angles you can see Weller point at Souray while the other Oiler is yapping at Weller.

Did Sheldon watch Slap Shot before the game? He was only missing the foil......

Absolute destruction by Souray. Weller was brave but foolish.

Yeah, Weller definitely wanted it and definitely lost. Fine. But seriously, I don't care if it's a wrist supporter or protector from a previous injury or what, it was very clearly used as a club. I also think Souray would have won without it, but I still think it sucks.

Souray had that crazed look on his face; I wish he'd fight Boogie. We probably would if he was making league minimum.

weller is no wuss but he didn't stand a chance against souray.
he might of had better luck with moreau but there's always next game.
as for the boogey man...i'm sure big mac will be more then happy.

Souray win. Credit where it is due. I like Weller, he is not a regular fighter but has proven in the past can handle himself. It appeared he didn't want to fight or wasn't ready and Souray wins. There will be a next time.

Hooray for Souray. Anybody ever notice that the cheap shotters always behave better when Souray's on the ice? And this is a guy who don't have a real big rep as an enforcer. Still wish he had come to Detroit.

Ouch, that was beat down ! Sheldon has always been a great fighter and very underrated.

Expected more from Weller after his last fight. Not many players have done the back to back KO's.

Souray has had the wrist guard on for years. Goes back to his major reconstructive surgery of about 5 years ago when he missed almost 1 1/2 seasons and almost had to call it a career. I could care less about Souray but it's not like he is some wrestler pulling the brass knuckles out when the ref isn't looking.

Why do all these knobs go on after their guy loses a fight, "well he's scared of Boogie/BGL or whoever though". We are usually talking about quality regular shift players that sometimes drop the gloves (in Souray's case, a D who has made the All Star team) getting in a scrap and then you expect him to go with your one shift goon? Give your head a shake.

wow, can't believe that Souray beat the crap out of Weller.

most of the fights i've seen Weller get in, he wins.
