Keith Ballard vs Colby Armstrong

Armstrong took exception to the Hip Check then Ballard pretty much kicked Armstrongs ass. Props to both fighters for taking the helmets off before the fight though.

I don't think Ballard was trying to go that low. His skates were pretty far apart and got off balance on the hit. Absence of malice or not, it was low. Ballard threw a lot more punches, but did any of them land. Ballard in a so-so fight.

Domination by Ballard to taking clear win over Armstrong.
He landed about 5-6 effective punches.

Whoa whoa hold on here. Kaspy was the master at the clean hip check, the best next to Colin Cambell. Some of Kaspy's other hits were definetly a little on the dirty side.
Now for the fight, yeah I'm a Pens fan but Armstrong should not drop the gloves. That nose for one is too much of a target. Winner Ballard and that was a sweet hip check.

Colby should learn how to fight before dropping the gloves.

Them kind of hits can end careers. Not much of a fight. Ballard gets the edge. He threw a few punches. Armstrongs gets the nod for the rest of the game. Ballard got 2 stupid penalties later in the game.

The highlight of this fight was the music in the background.

That was a great hip check, best I've seen in a while. As for the fight; not the best. No punches really landed. Edge Ballard.

i think armstrong was just embarrassed to get dealt such a hip check, most people know by now not to go down the boards against bally. The pens commentator is a boob, eh should stick to slurping that kid sid (you know the one with the girly face, who cries to the refs a lot ;) ) on another note, armstrong is such a puss diver, what a cheat.

Colby Armstrong can't fight let alone win against anyone. I take that back he could probably beat up Nagy.
