Staubitz responds to a cheap shot,
that followed a clean hit by Clutterbuck,
and after successfully immobilizing Konopka's right,
he proceeds to wail the poptarts out of him
for, what seemed like, an hour, and a half.

Staubitz was in control though his head shots to Konopka probably had little effect, like punching granite.

Earlier Trevor Gillies returned from suspension and tried to maim Cal Clutterbuck. He got tossed. He should be permanently tossed--well, another 10 game suspension. Gillies earned it.

Zenon Stortini hangs on for dear life.

I like these two..
Each defending their mates,
Staubitz threw more but have to hand it to Konopka, the lad knows how to protect himself.
Those would have been bombs by Staubitz turned out to be love taps only.
Have to give edge it to Staubitz as he was the only one willing to throw...

Not Z's best here. W Staubitz.

Staubitz might have been smiling having a great time throwing punches but I don't think Konopka was in the same mood. I do think Konopka has to beat the piss out of Gillies.

Konopka seemed content pinning Bradley against the boards while Staubitz tenderized the back of Z's head. Win Staubitz

Staubitz regains his honor after his earlier thumping this week by drizzling shots onto a less than willing Konopka.

Konopka looked like he was tying to use Staubitz's jersey as a face towel.

Hopefully Staubitz doesnt use his jersey to clean his meat slicer.

Remember that Seinfeld episode when Kramer uses Jerry's towels to clean his meat slicer and Jerry breaks out in a rash?

Beware the rash Z, beware.

Win Staubitz with the shorties on Konopka. Love both of these guys.

Clusterf*ck's hit on Dibenidetto was way worse than Gillies hit on Clusterf*uck. maybe if Cal-what kind of name is Cal-gets up and doesn't fake injury Gillies gets a minor penalty-Instead he will be suspended. Cal would never fight Gillies in that spot anyways.

clean hit by Clutterbuck and a clean hit by Konopka..well sort of.. he didn't have the puck but at least Zeno hit him face to face.
Staubitz wins a fight without throwing any elbows - rare!! ZK wants to wrestle more than fight in this one - 6.
Gillies' hit was not from behind but it was an elbow to the head. The hit he was responding to was from behind and maybe even dirtier. But he will get a holiday for being so soon after his last one.
