"Oh there we go!"??? What kind of comment is that? Rypien landed the better punches before getting maulded to he ice. Edge Rypien...

Much to my surprise, Staubitz wins with both the lefts, and rights,

against one of the better (albeit smaller) two fisted fighters in the league.

Props.

Not sure if Rypien slipped and fell but it sure looked like he ate a knuckle sandwich to me.

I'm going for Quality and not Quantity...
Staubitz threw more but honestly did not see anyone of his connect
Rypien threw only half the amount but caught Staubitz with a dandy that cut him open.
Did not see the fall asa knock down...Staubitz was re-loading a left and hit Rypien accidently on the way back.
Win Rypien.
( Didn't see the game...reading some of the posts. Did Rypien do something stupid ?)

Staubitz gets the win in this one but He's a dirty Bastard.....I loved it when he beat the piss outa TooToo with the elbows...Just cause Too too is a cheap peace of work,,,,,, Its not right to use the elboows in a hockey fight!!!!
I do wonder if it was after or before that cheap left Rypper threw before the fan incident

He tryed it again here and this is NOT MMA . Its clear and odvious that he's trying to take advantage of the elbow pad for Maximum damage
The picture on here is a great example of what I am talking about
THAT IS NOT A NATURAL FOLLOW THREW OF A PUNCH

Good fight, called it a draw, but this is a game Rypien will want to forget, given what happened afterwards.

Rypien with the best landed at 0:22. Staubitz with more landed with his best at 0:24 though most of his were impeded by the grip and were glancing, more impressive looking than effective. Would have been interesting to see if that last flurry by Staubitz turned into more than just a push & pull festival but unfortunately Rypien steps too far back on his blade while spinning and contorted and loses it. A draw up until that point despite Staubitz looking like he was ready to finish stronger.

Thats's what we wanna see, both guys swinging.

Have to give this one to Staubitz.

Despite the fact that he hasn't fought anyone of note that is his size, it is nice to se BS step up instead of running amok and then cowering behind Jody Shelly like he did in SJ. He got in a few more punches, but took forever getting fixed up with several butterfly bandages in the locker room.

close tilt ,Staubitz looked a bit better but got bloodied/cutted.
It was one good late-shot which cutted him.
Staubitz landed more.
its either draw or edge Staubitz,
I say DRAW.
