King goes looking for it,
and Shelley obliges.

King looked, understandably, rusty,
while Shelley looked a little past his expiry date.

Let's hope that this marks the end of his inconsistent ways,
and the beginning of a return to ''contender form'',
for the much-maligned...''Mister Glass Hands''.

The fight was pretty even. Shelley got interviewed after the first period on Flyers radio and said he could have done better--save it for Avery.

Have been trying to figure out the mystery of King...
As much as people may think of him as a top heavy ( I too did at one time),
I'm concluding that he's not a great fighter / technician when he has to fight in close.
He's great when he can grab onto a collar and brawl it out,
However, his losses have been when he's fought from close in.
I see Draw in this one.

This reminded me more of two senior citizens fighting over the last prune bar, then two Heavy Weights going at it. they both just seemed kind of...off.

Ive heard Bruce Boudreau removes dead facial skin with lineup cards and now I believe it.

Weakest heavyweight fight I've seen recently.

KIng with the W.i like that shelly has a payday for 3 years he deserves it,but it is harder to watch his fights,its like ray when he got old he was a punching bag.Shellys not their yet but one good beating can set the brain in slow motion as time passes.

This was only Kings 4th fight of the season and his rust showed... Slight edge to Kings for landing more punches and controlling a non eventful fight.

Much to do about nothing. The timing was right for the Caps to start the show but the results were all for naught. No one landed anything and its a Draw!
