no favs here. eager doesn't get the win for missing and falling. when tied up, both men fall. he also doesn't get the win for throwing a couple. he probably was scared sh*tless and thus threw some quick ones and then meant to fall....it was a good tactic to avoid an a$$ whippin'. DRAW...not even a real scrap, wrestling sh*t. Janssen couldn't even get going. How can you truly judge a 8 sec. go?

Posted by DARCY T on November 15, 2008 at 05:06 AM

they didnt even start.draw

Posted by jjjakes on November 15, 2008 at 10:21 AM

SLSHbleeder - why don't you come down to STL and see how retarded we are? I guarantee you I can teach you the diff between a win and a draw. One punch that barely hits a guy is not a win. If a fight lasts ten seconds or less, the only way to get a win is by knock out, IMHO.

Posted by mikebflorida on November 15, 2008 at 10:14 AM

Eager lands the only punches but certainly not enough for the win since Eager's punches are more of the pillow fight variety but he earns a draw anyway against a much better fighter.

Posted by C. Alter on January 10, 2010 at 04:11 PM

slips don't equal knockdowns. So few good punches that landed

Posted by grappler11 on November 15, 2008 at 11:26 AM

sorry i can't give a win who lands 1 punch and then dives to the ice. half a fight

Posted by phatslover on November 15, 2008 at 12:08 AM

Eager had the better punch but the take down goes to Janssen. Called it a draw

Posted by blackgoldfan on November 15, 2008 at 12:59 AM

3 undercards to get to this. wow if this was boxing i want my money back. but thankfully anyone who went to see the fights might have got to see a hockey game break out! i call this a draw. slshbleed - on takedowns, you don't win a fight with a take down i agree. but i do think some of them hurt just as much as a punch when they get bodyslammed. but slipping is certainly not a point(as in this case)

Posted by Behn Wilson on November 15, 2008 at 10:37 PM

Short sweet, and I'd hoped for more.

Posted by itsfull2 on November 16, 2008 at 12:41 PM

slshbleed .... you an idiot for calling people retards. Maybe you should look in the mirror you moron

Posted by bluesrule08 on November 15, 2008 at 12:38 PM

the left by eager did nothing to cam..i gave it a draw...if that left stunned janssen or knocked him over then i would have been a win by eager

Posted by kingpintoo on January 19, 2009 at 11:15 PM

eager hit him once and quit. he belly flopped like a panzie. can't ever give that a win. he wanted no part of janssen. janssen was just starting to unload and the opponent went South. Eager gets the loss for running like a puke. who ever gives eager the win is an idiot.

Posted by pontusxman on November 15, 2008 at 02:01 AM

Janssen didn't have a chance to get rolling here, like a lion with it's prey, Janssen was toying with Eager. Wager got a few short weak jabs in before he fell to his knees(chicago style). I think we'll see these two go again in conference play and Janssen will unleash the beast within. More a tie then a win by eager. Tie.

Posted by scottythecynic on November 15, 2008 at 11:00 PM

Cam with a couple of hits. Boring.

Posted by wannago on November 15, 2008 at 09:33 AM

Eager with the win. Janssen is becoming the new Jeff Odgers. Fight anybody, beat noone.

Posted by Gunslinger on November 15, 2008 at 07:39 AM

Give it to Eager but I think he's lucky to have fallen down when he did. Janssen probably would have landed a bunch, but "if if's and buts where fruits and nuts........"

Posted by Heyzeus on November 18, 2008 at 06:23 AM

In this fight Eager reminds me of the guy who comes over to your house for poker, wins a bunch of money early, then bails before you get a chance to win it back. haha Win Eager

Posted by PKisel34 on November 14, 2008 at 11:39 PM

Expected more here

Posted by Chaserfan39 on November 15, 2008 at 11:34 AM

Win to Eager because he landed the only punches before they hit the ice.

Posted by OriginalSix on November 21, 2008 at 04:52 AM

Edge goes to Eager for the 3 lefts to Janssens face.

Posted by Boogeyman2383 on November 15, 2008 at 11:22 AM

Wow Eager actually won a fight

Posted by PastorJ on November 15, 2008 at 05:28 AM

Eager actually wins a fight as he lands more shots than Janssesn before he falls down. People in hell are checking their thermostats as we speak...

Posted by PatL25 on November 21, 2008 at 04:08 PM

Cam is the Man, but this fight was too short

Posted by Jellyczar on November 15, 2008 at 08:01 AM

Eager slight edge...

Posted by billy jack on November 15, 2008 at 11:13 PM

eager finally wins one,he got a nice shot their.

Posted by Juha82 on November 15, 2008 at 04:43 PM

Eager landed 2 nice shots. Janssen didnt take over well later. EDGE Eager.

Posted by tstack on November 15, 2008 at 02:28 PM

Eager with really one punch that made the difference. Close win.

Posted by EvilVirus on July 12, 2009 at 03:34 PM

Eager won. He landed the only punches.

Posted by slshbleed on November 15, 2008 at 12:55 AM

All the retards from St. Louis are calling it a draw because Janssen got a take down. 1. A takedown is not equal to a punch. A takedown happens because you are in trouble or because you don't want to or can't fight. 2. If you look at the clip there was no takedown. Eager threw a punch and missed then fell to the ice. It wasn't that great of a fight. but it wasn't a draw. Janssen is a pretty tough guy, but he lost this fight

Posted by joaquin on November 15, 2008 at 05:26 AM

Nice job here by Eager. Got a couple shorties in and kept Janssen from landing anything. 4 fights, three Hawk wins and a draw. Not too bad.

Posted by RykerHC on November 15, 2008 at 04:14 AM

Eager with the win on this one. It seems Janssen needs some time to really get into the fight, so Eager may have had some luck on his side going to the ice early after landing two solid punches.

Posted by Wensinkfan on November 15, 2008 at 02:47 PM

I don't enjoy giving Eager credit for much for my own reasons but he did win this fight over Janssen. Nice punches in a short one by Eager.

Posted by STEVEO74 on November 14, 2008 at 11:41 PM

Eager. Although it was a shit fight.

Posted by BooSanta on November 16, 2008 at 09:26 PM

2 lefts from Eager landed clean. The second one and last punch landed was brutal. Janssen has a rock hard jaw to survive it. A chicago news website has a still of that punch. This is one of Eagers best fights as a Hawk.

Posted by smwarpig63 on November 15, 2008 at 02:01 PM

Eager landed only real punches and they were pretty nice

Posted by tattooedkingpin on November 15, 2008 at 11:28 AM

Eager landed better shots. gets the W

Posted by nighthawk walt on November 15, 2008 at 07:04 PM

eager landed the only shots.give him the win.

Posted by BAAAAANNERMAAAN on November 17, 2008 at 08:37 AM

win for Eager as he got the early / only shots of the fight....

Posted by rootevan67 on November 15, 2008 at 08:59 PM

eager just hit him nonstop

Posted by davec77 on November 15, 2008 at 03:19 AM

Clear win by Eager. Better punches = win.

Posted by K.O.cur_26 on November 15, 2008 at 03:28 AM

Edge/Win Eager for landing the better punches.

Posted by bruins rule on November 15, 2008 at 07:32 AM

ben eager with a surprising win in a short fight against a good fighter.

Posted by mbaumann on November 15, 2008 at 05:25 PM

How can you call that a draw? Janssen landed nothing, eager landed 2 or 3. What fight were you idiots watching. Clear win by Eager.

Posted by Rebel Banker on November 15, 2008 at 10:45 AM

FINALLY, A NICE WIN FOR EAGER. maybe he'll get back on track.

Posted by patou147441 on November 15, 2008 at 02:26 PM

He Eagered him....

Posted by J.R. Abel on November 15, 2008 at 10:34 AM

I have a tough time giving this one to Eager. I realize he was the only one to throw any. And he landed a decent one. But slipped to the ice right afterwards. I don't think it was convincing enough for a clear win. Called it a draw. And no, I am not from St. Louis.

Posted by Dijo on November 16, 2008 at 11:10 PM

This fight was really too short to call. Yes Eager landed a few, but then he went down. I think Janssen would have won if Eager could have stayed on his skates. You can't give Janssen the win because Eager went down, but you also can't give Eager the win because he took a nose dive before Janssen could punch him. That's what's wrong with this site. Every fight doesn't need a winner. If it's too short like this one then nobody won.

Posted by pynkfloid3 on November 18, 2008 at 11:35 AM

eager learn how to skate. its sad when you cant stand and throw with somebody and you actually jump in the air to fall down. eager lands two good shots and falls down like a 7 year old. weak.

Posted by chad420 on November 16, 2008 at 05:12 PM

3 clean ones by eager 4 the win in a lame 1

Posted by FotiuNystrom on November 17, 2008 at 09:07 PM

Only Eager landed. Not much of a scrap tho.

Posted by azjim on November 16, 2008 at 06:11 AM

Eager landed. Janssen didn't. Eager wins. And you don't win by takedowns. It isn't wrestling, or at least it shouldn't be. blackgoldfan - so it hurts. Is that supposed to be a reason to give credit for a takedown? It would hurt if someone bit their opponent, but that won't get them credit either.

Posted by poopies on November 15, 2008 at 03:22 PM

Cam might want to stick to fighting fighters who don't open up (see Andrew Peters). He does better with the ol' duck and chuck, but that's not saying much. Basically he sucks at life.

Posted by trombass08 on November 15, 2008 at 09:55 AM

If Eager had kept his footing this probably would have been a good fight.

Posted by CZuke39 on November 15, 2008 at 03:30 AM

Clear win for Eager. This was not a Janssen take down at all. Eager missed a punch and lost his balance.

Posted by chelios247 on November 17, 2008 at 12:01 AM

you blues fans make me sick. if you're in to takedowns watch wrestling WWE or WWF or whatever. Eager wins the fight because hes the only one that lands a punch. you idoits probably think Tkachuk won his fight too.
