I love it when a fight with two of the more hated players can bring us all together....it just feels so....right.

Posted by Riomouse911 on February 17, 2012 at 12:36 AM

BE actually looked like an NHL'er for this one. Brown.... not so much. It's because of the loads on Comcast, NESN, and this TSN broadcast that I now watch these fights with the sound off....makes for actually picking a winner rather than listening to these knobbing homers.

Posted by pepsigenerate on February 18, 2012 at 04:20 PM

eager with the win,to bad ORR isn't in the line up,he would of gave Eager an ass whippen...

Posted by billy jack on February 15, 2012 at 11:20 PM

is browns helmet cemented on,any way eager pile drived him down down down.

Posted by staceyb on February 16, 2012 at 06:30 AM

One of Eager's better efforts and not one of Brownie's better efforts, but most of Eager's helmet shots came when his adversary was down. Still the convincing W goes to Ben E, channeling his inner Gary Roberts with each punch.

Posted by risingdemon on February 16, 2012 at 12:57 PM

Winfor Eager, but after he took a nice right from Brown, his main concern was keeping Brown off balance and not getting hit. He landed almost zero clean punches. No damage done in a win for Eager.

Posted by langdon20 on February 16, 2012 at 08:14 PM

Listening to EDNO gargle Eager's cum nauseates me, figures he'd like that monkey. Guy fights two weightclasses below his and somehow still has close fights, bravo. Ed, the only code you know is that in Boston, you guys are always good for a reach around, keep reaching for that rainbow champ.

Posted by lovejoy on February 16, 2012 at 03:02 AM

haven't seen Brown got ass-kicked this way yet.

Posted by Behn Wilson on February 16, 2012 at 11:40 PM

Eager looks very ''un-Eager-like'', as he gets the jump on Brown, and keeps him off balance, on his way to a surprisingly, one-sided, win.

Posted by EdNo on February 16, 2012 at 03:31 PM

Win Eager... as for the countless statements of indignation for Eagers "violation of THE CODE", I am so [email protected]#*cking sick of that crap... What don"t you morons understand?? A Fight Is A Fight, and until it is stopped, I have ABSOLUTELY no problem with what Eager did... not to mention, Brown was still trying to get up and was intent on throwing punches.... What the Hell would you have these guys do, swap punch for punch, taking turns? This crap about "The Code " nauseates the puke outta me

Posted by GreatMurray on February 16, 2012 at 06:29 AM

Announcers were stupid...no tko. Eager wins the fight but all props with me for the 5 he throws after Brown is flat on his face. Pure Bullchit!!!

Posted by mudman55 on February 17, 2012 at 07:51 AM

I think Mike Brown is not happy. I'm sure he's eager for a rematch.....sorry.

Posted by whostolemylife on February 17, 2012 at 08:15 AM

I am sure things will go differently the next time these two meet up. Brown just had bad positioning right from the get-go.

Posted by Bakes923 on February 17, 2012 at 12:20 AM

Can't stand Eager,he's a cheap shot punk, usually picks on smaller guys, tho Brownie is now slouch!!Eager mostly hit helmut, but he did throw Brownie around.Brown did land one, refuse to give Eager a win!!

Posted by The Mad House on February 15, 2012 at 11:35 PM

I'm actually very surprised by this outcome... Eager pounding on Mike Brown? Wow what is this world coming too...

Posted by The DZA on February 16, 2012 at 07:26 AM

Brown gets his ass served on a platter with all the garnishes by Eager.

Posted by BooSanta on February 17, 2012 at 09:35 PM

B and E can sometimes beat heavyweights but and sometimes has trouble with the JaBrownis, but not this time. One sided jackhammering win for th B.

Posted by ghjkfdhgfd on February 16, 2012 at 10:27 PM

Eager

Posted by paulinho1980 on February 16, 2012 at 07:22 AM

Clear win (Eager).

Posted by slavv on February 16, 2012 at 11:39 AM

Good night, Mr. Brown.

Posted by sulley71 on February 15, 2012 at 11:27 PM

Eager with the win in this tilt...

Posted by fernben8 on February 19, 2012 at 12:15 AM

Good one, quite spirited... I thought at first Brown may have been blitzed by Eager but Brown managed to throw the first punch. Good Win for Eager and looking forward to their next meeting.

Posted by TommyGun29 on February 16, 2012 at 11:17 AM

Brown got owned. Leafs need a power forward in the worst way. If they do make the playoffs and that's a big IF, they will be run out of town in 4 or 5 games. Joe McGrath would say "not this bunch of pu-ssies"!

Posted by FightsOfHockey on February 15, 2012 at 11:51 PM

Big Ben is just too strong for Brownie

Posted by Brugie on February 15, 2012 at 10:59 PM

The eager beaver finally opens a can of rights and scored just before. Fighting a guy like brownie when he tucks that head down and starts throwin its as scary as bringing a bad report card home to you pops. One sided brown couldn't find his wheels (Win Eager)

Posted by scorp1on on February 16, 2012 at 06:58 AM

Wish we'd have seen some more of that Ben Eager when he was here. Easy to call win for Eager although I bet his hand hurts more than Brown's head with Brown's duck and chuck style.

Posted by Santokh_Gill on February 16, 2012 at 10:47 AM

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEasi !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ......

Posted by rocky 1 on February 15, 2012 at 11:55 PM

Mike Brown started the chirpping and Ben Eager doing the pound down for the win! They list Brown at 6ft but there,s no way as Eager is at least 4 inches taller.

Posted by bruins rule on February 15, 2012 at 11:40 PM

eager gets the win in this fight.

Posted by vangodard28 on February 16, 2012 at 11:54 PM

While Eager deffinatly did win that fight, I think the Oilers announcer needs to look up the definition of a TKO.

Posted by xoptimuscrimex on February 16, 2012 at 04:05 AM

WOW. Didnt see that one coming. Eager discovered the way to put Brownie down. Dont let him set up and tuck n fire. But still Ben Eager....really? thought the jump was a little too perfect. It looked like Eager waited for that split second to jump when Brown started watchin the puck.

Posted by GoWings09 on February 18, 2012 at 10:51 PM

Wow, Eager lives up to his name and Brown is no slouch either. Both pugilists swinging for the fences, and Eager shows a few cheap ones with his opponent on the ice. Win Eager.

Posted by Jackiep on February 16, 2012 at 03:16 PM

Excellent tilt... But I have to say where is all of the criticism about hitting a guy while he's on the ice? If it had been Avery or Phaneuf, you guys would be crying about it for ten pages! Instead, Eager gets praise...go figure.

Posted by tyrone on February 15, 2012 at 11:29 PM

Now that is the way you fight. You pu$$ies on this site always talk this shti about the code. F that. It's a god damn fight. Swing for the fence and try to knock the muthafocker out. I like Brown much better than Eager but he got the pi$$ beat out of him.

Posted by jkdelawrence on February 18, 2012 at 02:17 PM

Great resurfaced the ice with him!!!!

Posted by classic4 on February 16, 2012 at 12:25 PM

Who voted for Brown? If you're a Leaf fan, that doesn't mean you automatically win.

Posted by jayj06 on February 16, 2012 at 12:45 AM

Win Eager ... but different story if he fought someone his own size

Posted by DARCY T on February 21, 2012 at 07:23 AM

smaller brown wanted this fight but it was all eager.he never let brown get going...gave it a 7

Posted by LloydRobb on February 16, 2012 at 01:21 PM

Edge to Eager, but puncing Brown in the helmet and shoulder pads didn't really do much damage. Two spirited guys, though. Always good to see the middle/light heavyweights go at it.

Posted by dutchman on February 16, 2012 at 10:55 AM

man that ben eager is one dirty sucker. punching brown in the back of the head once he went down. dirty pool.

Posted by mcgreger on February 16, 2012 at 12:06 PM

eager wins with a sneak attack

Posted by Munnyman on February 16, 2012 at 12:41 AM

Not a lot of punches landing on Brown, but Eager with the decision for sure. Announcer said TKO... I have to say no way to that.

Posted by chad420 on February 16, 2012 at 10:52 AM

win Eager Beaver

Posted by bigdog2007 on February 16, 2012 at 05:35 PM

Ouch......Leafs should never fight

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on February 16, 2012 at 01:33 PM

Eager with the win, not quite a TKO thou Mr Announcer

Posted by SouthPaw017 on February 17, 2012 at 01:57 AM

Ben Eagerly gets the jump and proceeds to bend over and hammer Brown-Eye...

Posted by travist on February 16, 2012 at 01:33 AM

good one with bad intentions being thrown.

Posted by legend22 on February 16, 2012 at 07:30 AM

Brown is Canada's version of Zak Rinaldo. Loves to fight rarely wins.

Posted by kkdowning on February 17, 2012 at 12:13 AM

Not really a tko, but Eager dominated that fight. Brown couldn't get his standard jackhammer attack going

Posted by Jay617 on February 16, 2012 at 02:38 AM

It took awhile a few for eager to be talked into it an when he finally decided to go he made sure to get the jump. Hey... brown wanted it an he got it! win eager
