If you try to turtle you may get punched in the face on the way down. McKegg was trying find a crack in the ice to hide in as soon as he knew he had to fight,. A lot of Tampa sissy boys yapped at Mantha after but none of them tried him. I kind of hope Crosby slashes Mantha next time they play...Crosby's bodyguards had better be nearby. Mantha fills the bill for Detroit until they can accomplish regime change and get rid of Blashill and Holland. The young guns have had enough. No more banging around their best players with out a response. Hopefully the NEW management team will go find a couple of guys to fill this job so that Larkin, Mantha and AA can lead their team back to the CUP hunt next year.

Mantha...what a b!tch!!!!! He outweighs McKegg by 30lbs and is almost 6" taller. On top of that he takes two cheap shots at McKegg when he is on the ice. The so called "fighters" today have no code. I give this a draw and a 2 as Mantha didn't land a single punch until McKegg was already on the ice

Mantha with a couple of dandies as McKegg was going down, and two more AFTER he was down.

Mantha sticking up for Larkin was good to see he needs to use that big body in some way. Glad to see him drop the mitts.

Mantha kid has all the tools to be a premier power forward in this league. He beats up McKegg pretty easily here.

Nice to see Mantha has Larkin's back. He wins this scrap over McKegg who has to learn to bail better than that. Lol. Win Mantha.

Mantha bossed it.

Bs- punching a guy when he's down (defenseless). Hit on larkin didn't look bad. I kinda remember when checking was part of the game. Now you have to fight after a good clean check. False bravado

McKegg needs to expect that type of treatment if he's gonna cheapshot players from behind. Something better than zero defense would be a good idea. Lucky he wasn't facing a real fighter...

Mantha takes care o' bidness. I personally have nothing against punching someone when they're down.

Mantha took 2 cheap shots when McKegg was down do not counting them so draw
