Good stuff later the clip, where you can actually see the start of the fight and Martin rapid-fire rights are enough to get him the win. Two absolute veteran warriors though - kudos to this dying breed. In the end you can see they are chatting from either side of their benches (I presume this was before the fight). I'll have you all know - I am a lip reader. Martin was asking McLeod, "Cody, is that all you want for Christmas - just your two front teeth?"
While not a lot landed, that which did was from Martin. He clearly wins a somewhat mediocre fight.
Draw all day, good fight, lot of respect.
Anyone calling this anything but a draw is a homer.
Draw. Martin seemed to throw more but not much landed. These guys know what they are doing and fought when heavies were still around, so they know where to grab and hold. Lots of that here.
Cody Mac always willing and able. Unfortunately Martin gets the nod in this one. Good tilt though. Give it a 5.
Babcock is minor league when it comes to pansy hockey. Elaine Vigina and the pusssslfied are the class of the league
McLeod seems to be taking more and more losses lately
McLeod runs Mathews earlier gets a roughing ....1st per....2nd period Martin Levels an AV's d-man..Mcleod waits for Martin coming back at the blue line...Toronto up 3-0 ..Martin initially doesn't drop em..then says why not..feeds Mcleod with a series of shorties.....Win Martin...Nice to see a fight without a visor(bubblehead) Babcock hockey sucks..no physicality, I thought the Isles were soft but Babcock hockey is figure skating with sticks
Matt Martin vs Cody Mcloed fight this first game and the second time in new york rival matt martin on new york islanders and cody mcleod was on new york rangers.
both landed a couple early and then martin was trying to hug it off...draw and 4
After having a nice Holiday chat the boys get to the business of trying to take each other's heads off. The mission wasn't accomplished. Draw.
Easy win Martin. Don't think McLeod connected once
Anybody voting Mcleod is just voting against the Leafs he lands almost no punches.
Cody doesn't lose many...but he lost this one. Martin lands a couple early then they exchanged a few short misses and hugged it out.
I feel bad for Mcleod, seems like he's trying to single handedly carry a struggling team. Too bad he loses this one, but he's a gamer.
Purse swinging Leafie looked like he wanted to slow dance
