Other Penalties: Campbell received a minor and misconduct for instigating a fight.
Stuart looks at Campbell as if to say, "Are you nuts?" Soupy looks back and says "Yes I am, please slap me around a little...I have a reputation to uphold...LOSER!" What Boston AZZ CLOWN voted for Campbell...geez!
CAMPBELL IS TERRIBLE AT FIGHTING
Why was everyone clapping at the end? Was there a fight there that we didnt see?
Typical new NHL "fight". First grab jersy and then twirl while expending all your energy maintaining the greatest distance from your opponent. Waste of time.
Stuart may have landed one or two but he looked gassed. Campbell didn't win so the streak continues! Draw.
campbell challenged stuart after his hit and stuart looked gassed out from beginning.he threw a couple rights but i dont see connecting more than 1 of them.if stuart was fresh i believe he would win easily but this one's a draw and campbell almost didnt throw a punch.i dont see a reason to drop your gloves after a clean hit if u are not gonna throw a punch
While I'll always respect Campbell for finishing his shift on a broken leg, he's a pretty bad scrapper since Stuart landed his punches whenever he decided to throw one. Stuart probably let up since Campbell was an old teammate because it looked like he didn't really want to fight, he was just obliging Campbell after a solid hit.
DEAR SANTA; I have been getting beat up my whole life , can you please send me some boxing lessons , I have been a good boy , letting everyone use my face as a punching bag! 'GREGORY'
Why even show that as a fight,, thats a roughing penalty
stuart handled him easy
Kudo's to Campbell for not hesitating to retaliate. Too bad he didn't land any and Schtuie, after popping him a few times for the WIN, seemed to lose interest in the challenge. Really?
not sure how you can call this for either guy.
It's so bad HF can't attach a commercial. Why would anyone give up time in the box to fight soup? Props to Stuart for not killing him.
I did not have to watch this fight to know that Campbell lost. Watching it only proved me correct. Stuart looked bored and like he did not want to hurt Campbell due to some fond memories when they used to go out for drinks in the Back Bay
Clean hit by Stuart.....Campbell tries to jump him for it. Luckily for Campbell Stuart was gassed or it could have been a really bad day for Campbell.
after watching Stuart's reluctance to punish Campbell I hear Paul Newman's voice from The Color Of Money; 'That's the problem w/mercy kid, it just ain't professional." suppose Brad didn't want any bruises on his pals face over the holidays.. #5 FTW due to his 'holiday spirit'....
Another fight after a clean hit. Oh yeah....Campbell loses.....again.
Mark Stuart doesn't mind a fight for fights sake but he is at his best when he wants the fight. Clearly he didn't want or need to hammer Campbell so he didn't. Stuart has become the kind of guy who is needed on the ice so he doesn't scrap enough to be good at it but he is tough and knows the basics. Campbell is an honest pug who never mastered the basics. He epitomises "showing up" but it's time to contribute in other ways. Start practising face offs or something
Stuart had no interest in pounding Campbell. He almost looked ashamed to even throw a punch. They need to glue Gregory Campbell's gloves on.
Edge Stuart.
I like Campbell on the Bruins, but he has to be the worst fighter in the league.
"Ofer-life"misguidedly attempts to avenge a clean hit only to be promptly pummelled by a completely unintimidated and seemingly disinterested Stuart
Campbell shows his appreciation and affection for Stuart by hugging him fiercely. The ungrateful Stuart spurns Campbell's advances by swinging his arm in the air.
Old ties run deep. Stuart obliges Campbell and then proceeds to give him only one tenth of the beating Campbell would have gotten had he not been an old teammate. Same thing happened in a Stuart Thornton fight years ago. Campbell went from 1 and 35 in the win loss column to 1 and 36. At least he is consistent.
Much like my imaginary girlfriend, Campbell's soup always wilts when the "moment is right."
This "fight" typifies what is wrong with the NHL. It was a clean hit. It wasn't even that hard of a hit. But then a clown on the other team will somehow think he has to instigate a fight, and a lot of times that clown really has no business trying to be a tough guy. So lots of grabbing, and jersey jabs. In this case, you can see Stuart did not want to fight. He could literally have beaten Campbell with one arm tied behind his back. He was calling for the ref to come in the whole time. The fight scene in the NHL is too WWF right now. If this is the direction they're taking, then they may as well end the misery and ban fighting altogether. It's becoming as unwatchable as the hockey itself.
It doesn't get any gayer than this. They both lose. Good day gentlemen
