This is the fight the NHL doesn't like. Staged. No enforcing, No Anger, No Retribution for past sins real or imagined. Just a "lets entertain the crowd" fight. BUT...that was one hell of a good fight. Nothing but big shots from two tough customers. Give them a draw and 7
Good old fashion tilt that went the distance. I'm going draw on a respectful battle between two whipper snappers lookin to make a difference on their respective teams... No doody jokes tonight folks, no. But I saw the movie Creed tonight and it kicked so much ass! Being from Philly, this movie means a lot to me and you will definitely get hype. Even though it is more an urban tale, they pay homage to the great Rocky. Stallone was phenomenal . Good night gentlemen
both were throwing and both were coming short most of the time.that cant be anything other than draw
Bollig looks like a renewed man this year and handled a guy I thought would take care of him to a draw! Bollig style to get in close and hang on which I hate.If your going to fight then fight with reckless abandon .Boogard would have ate either of these two guys up and spit them out in concussion land!
Yea, there's mutual respect there, these two tussle usually once a year, No Ill will just trying to spark a team. nothing to write home over. I give it a 5.
Long draw between a couple of big guys who can handle themselves @Michael I'm glad to know the movie wasn't crappy
Two tough guys try to spark their teams with a spirited heavyweight bout. Both guys do a good job here and nobody is worse for the wear when the dust settles. Draw.
Draw, a good fight finally ! All you homer weirdos who picked a winner in this need another beer. Or morphine.
Very close fight between two guys who know how to both throw and cover up... Neither wanting to open up due to mutual respect for each other's power I called it a draw and scored it a 6..... Staged fight a rarity these days
Not a bad tilt! Video cuts out a little early - but they just pat each other on the head
Thought this was Stewart's best fight in a while.
"Was it as good for you as it was for me?" Lights cigarette.
come back to the HAWKS Brandon !
It was a very entertaining fight. Enjoyed it in person.
great
have to go with the vet stewart on this one bolligs shots didn't do anything to stewart close but this is stewart today
Good scrap.
Stewie with the slight edge.
I voted just out of respect for the grit that B. Bollig brought to the table in the past as a CHI town member. Good times were had.
slight edge Bollig
Pretty evenly matched, Have to give a slight edge to Bollig, nice upper cut. I think he would have done better if he had of been able to use his left, Good fight.
I think a person could fool oneself into thinking this was a pretty good throwback fight. If one does, I believe it could be because we've seen such lameness so far this season that anything with a pair of heavyweights actually tossing punches must be exceptional. In fact I found it to be just like GreatMurray described: "Staged. No enforcing, No Anger, No Retribution for past sins real or imagined." Where our opinions diverge is that I did NOT find it particularly good, entertaining or worthwhile. But hey, maybe that's just me.
I give it a draw....both landed about the same number of shots
Great fight. Pretty even. Gave it a draw....and a 6.
Liking the increase in fights off the draw. Reminds me of better days in the not so distant past. Two tough guys square off and hit as much as they miss in a interesting tilt. Just as you get frustrated with the misses and grappling one of them gets free and lands a bomb. A combination of technique, defense, and straight up bombs. Had one or two more of those punches landed we approach fight of the year talk. Although a fight rated a 7 approaches FOTY in this dismal year. Bring back McGrattan, Orr, somebody please
These were two big, strong guys going at it. Pretty good fight. I didn't see a clear winner either way. I'll call it a draw.
By the transitive property, Chris Stewart is better than Tom Wilson. "Tactical" draw I would think.
Not a bad showing. I call it a draw.
Need more of this.
Draw that in this year ranks as a good scrap. But godammit Bollig why didn't you expend that energy on the relocated POSs Bitchka and Kissler? Sure, they'd have turtled but still...
Holy sh*t. FOTY candidate.
Decent bout with the edge going to Stewart
Two strong and qualified tough guys cautiously going through the motions in an inevitable draw bereft of any real animosity Colour me disappointed
Exact same fight they had on Dec 11, 2014
"I'm done, are you?" "I was done a long time ago!"
