Wilson dropped Morrow with a gut shot!

draw

Morrow lost his balance because he stepped on a stick. You could see it on the Tampa feed. Draw.

win wilson i guess in not much of fight.morrow slipped too soon but wilson landed a couple while morrow was sitting down and there's difference between finishing the check and interference.that should be an interference call on wilson right there

Each guy lands one before Morrow looses his balance and falls to the ice.

Aside from that one body blow nothing lands of consequence therefore I went draw.....not much of a fight here really

is this the fight that lets us know that Wilson is FOR REAL?... it was against Morrow, so no. cagey vet staying relevant in kind of a non-relevant way in todays game, but we ALL love that don't we? this Wilson kid gets some 'low hanging fruit' to go with the W and his Shock-Top after the game.. #43 FTW -not close

Big Bad Wilson wins

If you crosscheck folks in the lower back than you can't expect them to not return the favor if you slip.

Morrow lost his balance so I will just give it a draw. Morrow points to the ice as the ref is skating him off.

Wilson landed the only real punch - the body blow. That Wilson appears to be a real pest. The type of guy you loving having on your team and despise when he is on the other team. Wilson gets the win, but I agree with other posters his late hits are starting to concern me.

LOL -- no offense taken Behn. The punching of a kneed opponent is bad form, but give the kid a break, he has no role model to teach him the ropes. Jay Beagle, Jason Chimera, Brooks Laich? What is young guy to do when it is you against the world. . . Wilson was looking for payback for a cheap hit last game and Morrow stepped up to save his more skilled teammate. Even with the point deduction for the late punches, Wilson takes the win.

Shame on you Wilson. When a man is down, he is down. Wilson loses his cool because Morrow popped him twice before he did the Dubinsky drop. Win to Morrow. Why don't the caps draft players After they have finished high school?

Posted by das_mack on December 14, 2014 at 10:55 AM

Morrow is too old for this crap. Wilson is dirty. He punches a guy as veteran as Morrow when Morrow is down. No respect.

Posted by blueliner34 on December 14, 2014 at 04:38 PM

If Morrow doesn't want to be punched while on his ass perhaps he should skate up and cross check unsuspecting players in the lower back while they are finishing their checks... watch the video again at the :48 mark

I'll give it to Wilson...but this is at least the third time he threw punches with his opponent down. The kid needs to be taught the "code". Maybe the Caps will travel to Calgary some time soon where Big Mac or Engelland can be his professor.

Edge Wilson and as strange as this may sound... I completely agree with Rocky1's assessment whom as many of you know is not my biggest fan That being said... the ground punching was pretty cheap and has to be mentioned Sorry KK

Posted by EK65 on December 14, 2014 at 02:05 AM

I'm gonna have to rule this a pretty uneventful draw.. both guys throw before Morrow goes to the ice. I'm a strong believer in the code so Wilson Yeah, you don't punch a guy like Brenden Morrow when he's on the ground... Wait Brenden Morrow is still in the NHL?

Posted by Massive Coiler on December 14, 2014 at 12:33 AM

Not a fantastic fight, I don't know, I almost want to call it a draw. But I guess I'll go Wilson for the better shots.

Posted by Humper on December 14, 2014 at 07:30 AM

Wilson squeaks out a win in a mundane bout. And it had nothing to do with Morrow slipping and falling.

Posted by ironbar44 on December 14, 2014 at 08:50 AM

WILSON is a guy i can't root for. always cheap/ throws when a guys down .

Posted by bigmike53 on December 14, 2014 at 02:34 AM

Close scrap with Wilson getting the nod. The punches on the ice are cheap but Wilson gets the win nonetheless.
