Best part of the fight is that inbred monkey waving the hankie by the glass. LMAO!

Posted by Conan01 on April 23, 2012 at 10:33 PM

Are you kidding me a draw. For those clowns who voted draw because you didn't like the Senators second goal or some other stupid reason you take away from the integrity of this process. Go study for your urine test. Vote on the fight, straight up.

Posted by blazers76 on April 25, 2012 at 09:36 AM

Win Neil. Despite the antics, Neil gets the clear victory in this bout. It's a fact he has been one of the best players in the series. Prust is also one of my favorites.

Posted by probie4life on April 23, 2012 at 10:50 PM

neil with the win. great hit on boyle (by the way) could, hard CLEAN hit!

Posted by EdNo on April 24, 2012 at 04:18 PM

I don't like either team these guys play for, nor do I particularly like either player... I think Neil picks his spots way too much, and i think prust is over-rated... just saying I got NO rooting interest here That being said, How the FUCKKK can anybody who isnt Prust's family member or girl/boyfriend vote for Prust in this fight??? While the fight was close, there wasn't one slightest iota of doubt that Neil beat Prust... please people, please!

Posted by JustinL611 on April 24, 2012 at 08:27 AM

Neil with the win in the fight, Del Zotto with the TKO on the hit later in the game. Was Neil complaining about a clean hit??? Shocker...

Posted by Velds on April 23, 2012 at 11:11 PM

Is Neil for real? This guy is an absolute idiot. Missing quite a few brain cells I imagine. Great heart, just needs to grow up or....become a little more human and less of a mindless ape.

Posted by AC1026 on April 24, 2012 at 08:41 PM

Ok boys and girls I am saying draw..because if you notice it is 1-0 Senators at the time...Rangers wind up winning 3-2 (should have been 3-1 kick in at the end of the game by neil) Also pushing the goalie out of the crease with the stick is just wrong. So Prust Lost the battle but won the war...Oh sorry to offend people with my deep meaning of "why" the fight happened. Yes Neil won the battle but Rangers are back for game 7 because of Prust firing his team up. Yeah cheap goal at the end shoulda been 3 1. Great job Prust!

Posted by Hobie_Hansen on November 04, 2012 at 01:42 PM

Maybe Neil wins by a slight advantage in points from landing an extra punch but it's a basically a draw. Neil and Prust will be seeing a lot of each other in the future now that Prust is a Hab.

Posted by Clark75 on April 25, 2012 at 10:13 AM

Draw. Not too much connected here. Both guys fought hard. Neil thinks he's the champ during and after every fight. Too bad you lost the game Tool. Go Rangers! Neil is a bitch! Laughed my a$$ off when Del Zotto smoked him behind the net then Neil cried like a bitch on the bench.

Posted by Unforgiven on April 24, 2012 at 02:59 PM

Good solid tilt between 2 guys that everybody has to love. These guys are the future of enforcing in the NHL. Big guys, who are tough and can play a regular shift.

Posted by jnk07899 on April 24, 2012 at 12:22 PM

Neil gets the edge but I voted draw. Great move by Prust to fire his boys up and help get the W. Awesome fight. Loved every second of it. Voted it a 9... The playoffs bumped that number up a few.

Posted by NAILS13 on April 25, 2012 at 01:40 AM

That was fucking epic. What a goddamn tilt.

Posted by paulinho1980 on April 24, 2012 at 12:01 AM

toothless Neil won.

Posted by mmadced on April 23, 2012 at 11:02 PM

neil schools prust with easy victory.ice generslship and the best punch of the fight clinches it.

Posted by White Lotus on April 24, 2012 at 10:05 AM

Slight edge to Neil but need to make note that Neil wouldn't accept the challenge earlier in the game. Can't goon it up everywhere then turn down fights. You lose points for that. Neil seems to have a pattern; chooses fights on his own terms, fights guys at the end of their shifts, tries to rip off guys helmet, acts like a complete ingrate w/ crowd then acts as though he dominated. Funny how he desn't seem to get near Rupp. He won't match up against a guy where he has a disadvantage. He's a pure pretender. Notice how his style changes when his helmet is off. Now it's somewhat even and he starts grasping.

Posted by EDDUBBS on April 25, 2012 at 01:28 PM

Prust is a bonafide punk! Straight up! I have said time and time again and I may be wrong after game 7, but I picked the Sens to oust the over-hyped Rangers. The NY Rangers are just not that good. If the Sens don't get them the Flyers will. Keep looking at the regular season games which mean nothing. The FLyers are getting stronger day by day with players returning and their layered defense will handle teams with less potent offenses than the Pens. Neil -please bist him up again...PLEASE!

Posted by Riomouse911 on April 30, 2012 at 05:30 PM

CN wanted that one. BP went through the motions.

Posted by DWMJr on April 24, 2012 at 09:16 AM

In the immortal words of Tie Domi: "It's not how many you win or lose,it's how many you show up for" It probably would have been a better fight if Neil would have taken up Prust's challenge at the beginning of the game, both players where exhausted by the time this fight was over. Hat's off to both players, they both showed up for this one.

Posted by rocky 1 on April 26, 2012 at 10:27 PM

A close fight with Neil getting the edge!

Posted by ghjkfdhgfd on April 23, 2012 at 08:14 PM

Posted by TheFlower on April 27, 2012 at 03:15 PM

Neil by a huge margin.

Posted by talister106 on April 25, 2012 at 12:50 PM

Have to give it to Neil just for the way he delided Prust`s helmit.

Posted by Rags4Life on April 23, 2012 at 09:20 PM

Close fight. Pruster shows a lot of heart but Neil lands the better shots. I would have been down after that first uppercut

Posted by LarryPlayfair on April 23, 2012 at 10:04 PM

Neil with the win. Two good fighters but Neilmlanded the better punches

Posted by mr hockey on April 23, 2012 at 08:36 PM

what a hot dog Neil is ,that's why he's missing most of his teeth ,but than again he always fights the light weights or no weights that is

Posted by DARCY T on May 08, 2012 at 08:50 AM

if i should choose a winner i'd vote for prust.he landed 2-3 more than neil but the fight was too long and those punches didnt make much difference...draw and 6

Posted by slysi on July 20, 2016 at 04:53 PM

Neil is tough ...to be sure ...but he needs to stop the show-boating after a fight

Posted by Lucy Brown on April 24, 2012 at 07:58 AM

draw

Posted by SouthPaw017 on April 23, 2012 at 11:42 PM

The toothless Cro-Magnon man edges Prust... No one can really complain about either of these guys, they never quit or turtle, and will take on anyone..... Therefore, neither of them will ever play for Separatist Nation, nor the Cansucks....

Posted by wehmo14 on April 30, 2012 at 04:54 PM

Neil wins the fight but mission accomplished by Prust. Prust challenges the guy who has been a menace during the series and changes the momentum of the game. The Rangers, trailing 1-0, go on to score 3 unanswered goals and win the game.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on March 06, 2015 at 05:56 PM

Loved Neil's showboating urging the fans on during the fight. Great job by the wily old vet in that one.

Posted by goleafsgo12665 on October 14, 2012 at 08:30 PM

Good scrap. Two big tough guys going at it there. I give it to Neil in a close fight.

Posted by fcm on April 23, 2012 at 11:48 PM

Win Neil and a 6

Posted by RockemSockem16 on April 20, 2013 at 09:33 AM

Gotta love both these guys but neil with the win here

Posted by Aileen on April 24, 2012 at 01:44 PM

Prust won the moral victory for his team.

Posted by TrueBlue26 on April 24, 2012 at 12:07 AM

NEIL DESERVES EVERY BAD THING THAT COMES HIS WAY

Posted by terreri31 on April 24, 2012 at 07:09 AM

Fair to call it a draw, but I gave the edge to Neil as he seemed more in control throughout. Buzzing with confidence right now too. I'd say his punches were more accurate in this one.

Posted by cmsmith1331 on January 23, 2013 at 02:00 PM

Hate Neil but he's a tough SOB. Win here but Prust never backs down from a bout

Posted by QUIGGS22 on April 25, 2012 at 04:08 PM

Neil wins

Posted by hockeyboy10106 on April 24, 2012 at 01:37 AM

good fight to watch the W goes to neil i like how neil gets the crowd involved good playoff hockey here

Posted by The_Rickster on January 27, 2013 at 08:21 AM

Good tilt, slight edge to Neil.

Posted by kneumann on April 24, 2012 at 10:43 AM

Draw?? are you kidding me? Neil wins flat out. You Ranger fans that voted a draw and those morons that voted a Prust win, should not be driving a motor vehicle. Way to dangerous!!!

Posted by kimo_coyote on April 24, 2012 at 03:22 PM

Edge to Neil. Prust will stand up to anyone. He egged Neil into it.

Posted by nojjon on April 23, 2012 at 11:30 PM

Neil all the way. Neil takes on all comers and knew this wold happen for the clean hit on Boyle. Fo all the people who don't like Neil. if her was on your team you would have a differnt thought. Neil does not back down and for someone who plays on the edge, he has never been suspended and I think only calld on the carpet once.

Posted by kinga101 on May 02, 2012 at 03:15 PM

Good one for a playoff game. Neil's size and strength was evident in this as he controlled the fight and appeared to land some pretty good shots. Prust, as always, hung in there and didn't show any worse for the ware.

Posted by ironbar44 on April 24, 2012 at 05:30 PM

PRUST always game comes up a little short

Posted by FightsOfHockey on April 23, 2012 at 08:12 PM

Win Neil

Posted by UPitt26 on April 30, 2012 at 10:00 PM

neil with the whoop!

Posted by bammer24 on April 24, 2012 at 10:36 PM

Neil gets the win but very little respect.Stick to the code just go to the box.

Posted by jrjay on April 26, 2012 at 10:04 AM

don't say its a draw because you don't like Neil or the sens. count the amount of hits landed

Posted by Turbo_-9 on April 23, 2012 at 08:02 PM

I have to give this one to Chris Neil

Posted by bigdude on April 24, 2012 at 08:06 AM

Neil lands some great shots, and Prust hangs in but really doesn't amount much offence and gets it handed to him pretty good. Win Neil!

Posted by GreatMurray on April 24, 2012 at 06:56 AM

Neil won the battle...but Prust gave him plenty back. Neil wins the fight. Prust wins the game.

Posted by Fractional on April 27, 2012 at 03:18 PM

NEIL FTW

Posted by Leafs2012 on April 27, 2012 at 03:17 PM

Yea...gonna give that to neil straight up.

Posted by THE LAWNMOWER on April 24, 2012 at 08:38 PM

Only Neil would wave to crowd in mid-fight!!! hahahah, he knows when he has the scrap in the bag. Poor Prust, felt sorry for him there as he really got schooled by the old fight vet Neil.

Posted by valleycat on April 23, 2012 at 08:38 PM

Neil with the big win. After the first couple shot Neil got in, Pust couldn't recover. He got totally screwed up when Neil went lefty on him. Who could see this as anything but a dominant win by Neil. A Ranger fan maybe...but they'd be wrong.

Posted by classic4 on April 24, 2012 at 01:13 PM

If this was boxing, Neil would have won by split decision. I give it to Neil. Good bout. As for those who said Neil only fights smaller or light weights, what about his fight with Chara. Almost a draw.

Posted by palCHECK on April 26, 2012 at 06:43 PM

haha neil waving to the crowd during the fight, that's awesome

Posted by slarrivee11 on April 23, 2012 at 08:23 PM

Neil by a little.......but 2 awesome fighters

Posted by DuaneSutter on April 23, 2012 at 08:40 PM

Neil knocked Prust's block off! What an uppercut. Man, do I hate the Rangers.

Posted by Leafs2006 on April 27, 2012 at 07:57 AM

Prusty picks this fight....wins it, and hence a Ranger series win....Na Na Na na....Hey hey hey....Neil sucks......buh bye Ottawa....again.......Now, please, please retire Danielle Alfred, and Grandpa Gonchar, please! Woof

Posted by capsfloors on April 23, 2012 at 10:15 PM

Finally Neil is willing to dance as Prust had been inviting him on to the floor since the second period of game 5. Neil gets some good shots in but they don't seem to have anything behind them as Prust doesnt even move when he gets hit. I could see a slight win for Neil here but I'm going draw. Oh and tpr1960 blows!

Posted by Bear72 on April 25, 2012 at 10:06 PM

Good fight enjoyed it immensly Neil with slight edge

Posted by lb1631 on April 23, 2012 at 10:50 PM

Pruster maybe but mos likely a draw

Posted by destructdestroy on April 24, 2012 at 06:19 PM

Edge to Prust, Neil landed no bombs and took one square in the face.

Posted by ssully1618 on April 26, 2012 at 02:53 AM

i hope boyle comes back tonight and marty mcsoreleys this guy. nobody would mind.

Posted by Bob Probert 24 on April 25, 2012 at 11:07 PM

Neil's a wildman. Prust found out the hard way.

Posted by bigdog2007 on April 24, 2012 at 06:09 AM

Neil wins again...as the Leafs golf

Posted by chad420 on April 24, 2012 at 12:02 PM

win Sloth...He goes batty over the Delzotto hit...Are you serious?...'Those who live in glass houses should not throw rocks'

Posted by buzzgun2000 on April 25, 2012 at 07:16 AM

At 1:24 you can see Sloth spot Chunk in the crowd and shout "YOU.......FWIEND...HAA HHAAA HAAAA" Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Posted by dorian on April 26, 2012 at 08:06 AM

Good win by Neil. Prust is no weakling.

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on April 25, 2012 at 02:49 AM

Neil takes this one, got spirited fight.

Posted by kkdowning on April 24, 2012 at 11:18 AM

Prust is great, but Neil edges this one due to his size advantage.

Posted by forbull on April 24, 2012 at 09:43 AM

Im not a big fan of Neil because he usually goes after smaller girls. This time it was an honnest affair, with Neil comming out on top (for CANADA).

Posted by ptrbrooks on April 24, 2012 at 07:46 AM

Neil wins by virtue of the uppercut early. Rest was close. But it was fun to see DelZotto level Neil with a clean check and watch him moan about it!

Posted by muskokadangler on April 23, 2012 at 08:01 PM

Unfortunately Neil gets the win....I hate that guy.... Prusty took some Good shots to the squash and was never quitting but only Landed a few He certainly was on the losing side of this tilt

Posted by missamylee on April 23, 2012 at 10:40 PM

Neil pummeled Prust. Hardly a draw. Are you guys serious?

Posted by john-ny on April 25, 2012 at 09:43 PM

No real damage to either. Prust is hard to hit and frustrates the bigger opponent. Prust got the team going. Should be using John Scott for this duty, he would knock that stupid grin off Neil's face

Posted by KnockoutDan on April 23, 2012 at 11:34 PM

Neiler all the way, great uppercut !

Posted by sjuwill on April 24, 2012 at 03:06 AM

half you people are idiots......the fight was very close, for you to say i hat e the rangers and give a fair vote is idiotic...it was a clean fight and both guys tried their best...no matter who you root for is not important...if you want to vote at this site be fair and realistic.....fools......

Posted by arrows80 on April 23, 2012 at 08:10 PM

I would love Chris Neil if he played for my team. But he doesn't, so I was hoping Prust would punch the ugly out of him. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here.

Posted by Sather-Satan on April 24, 2012 at 09:04 PM

Neil does a lot of the controlling, but Prust wins with the 3 straight solid shots (watch 1:01 to 1:10) to end it, when Neil waives the white flag.

Posted by moramike on April 24, 2012 at 01:51 PM

Clearly Neil.

Posted by JarHeadGabe on April 23, 2012 at 08:37 PM

Win to Neil for more punches landed and creativitiy with the helmet. Great job by both guys.
