Brandon Pussinski did everything he could to not have to fight; and that's my point- he did not engage Carter who was looking to whoop his ass or get tagged himself and we all appreciate that aspect of the game. Pussinski clutching is akin to watching the old Devils trap defense. Carter will a solid win.

Employing one of the worst fighting techniques this side of the ''Kantstopoulos'' river... Dubinsky allows far too many unanswered rights, on his way to a ''demoralizing the troops'' type of loss. Sigh...I was supposed to be at this game.

Easy win for carter, duby has a sore face tomorrow

Posted by 5minmajor22 on March 07, 2012 at 06:19 PM

Don't know much about Ryan Carter but Dubinsky is not a fighter by any stretch. He only beat Mike Richards once and that was his only W.

Posted by tpr1960 on March 07, 2012 at 06:10 PM

Carter kicked ass, Dubinskys a p#ssy, like New York

Posted by staceyb on March 06, 2012 at 08:53 PM

I counted four head popping shots from Carter on Dubinsky. Carter with the W.

Carter kicked his ass, Im not sure what the announcer was talking about when he said it was a good scrap....

carter easy

Posted by mudman55 on March 07, 2012 at 07:53 AM

I haven't seen Dubinsky and his 1993 haircut win any fights. Has anyone else? Did Torts really say "Dubs, go out there and take a beating every 5th game!"? That said, he respected the code and didn't whack Carter on the way down, which he could have easily, so I give him some love. But Carter all day. Not sure why Tortorella would challenge Dubinsky to be tougher- he's a skill guy, and the Rangers have plenty of bangers.

Wow lots of dubi bashing i see. Not sure why though. He's a solid player in all aspects of the game and more often then not, get the decision in most of his fights. Though he didnt fare well with Carter, let's hope his hand isn't injured too seriously.

Posted by nait on March 07, 2012 at 09:05 AM

for a guy who didnt fight in high school nor college and sparingly in the nhl he held his own very well

I like Dubi, but what was he doing?Carter threw all the punches, and connected on a few.Dubi looked like he didnt want any part of the fight!!Win to Carter

Posted by bammer24 on March 07, 2012 at 02:31 AM

I think Carter left his hand print in his face.Give Dubinsky credit took some hard shuts but stayed up.Win Carter

Posted by TK40 on March 07, 2012 at 06:51 PM

Dubinsky is a scrub I don't know why he even bothers to fight and then perform like this. Nice clean shots by Carter.

Posted by R U KIDDING ME on March 06, 2012 at 09:15 PM

dubinsky didn't look too interested once it got going

Posted by njteech on March 07, 2012 at 06:19 AM

Dubie took a beatin'

Posted by DARCY T on March 08, 2012 at 03:24 PM

win carter and 6

Posted by range on March 07, 2012 at 07:36 AM

Dubinsky took some hard shots but at least he had the heart. Clarkson yapped all night but ran from Prust and Rupp, once again putting the skirt on

Posted by lb1631 on March 07, 2012 at 12:01 PM

Why does Dubinsky fight? He gets his ass handed to him in this scrap.

Posted by bruins rule on March 06, 2012 at 10:08 PM

carter with the win in this fight.

Posted by sedinfan on March 06, 2012 at 10:41 PM

Lots of good scraps for a change, edge to Carter for sure.

Posted by vangodard28 on March 07, 2012 at 06:13 PM

Someone needs to tell Dubinsky that he needs to stop going all huggy-bear in his fights.

Posted by Kordic64 on March 06, 2012 at 09:01 PM

As of right now, 2 azzhol's have voted. One who called this a draw and another giving it to Dubinsky. Shameful *ussies wouldn't dare publicly review.

Easy win to Carter

Posted by johnkos on March 25, 2012 at 12:20 AM

Not a bad fight, but Carter got in the better shots as Dubinsky's head looked like a bobble head each time he got hit.

Posted by DarthQuider on March 06, 2012 at 09:05 PM

Dubie, looked like he smoked a "dubie" before that fight....WEAK!

Posted by alan m. on March 07, 2012 at 09:44 AM

I'm as much as a Rangers fan as anyone, anywhere! But I have to LOL at anyone who voted this for Dubi or a draw. About as one-sided of a pounding as one will see. Just brutal, type of fight that gives ammunition to those who wish to ban it. Wouldn't be surprised if his injury is a concussion rather than a hand injury.

Posted by devlnri on March 07, 2012 at 10:41 AM

The best fight I have seen in a while, both men removed helmets and then proceeded to fight. What makes it better is Dub broke his hand on Carters face, Carter still kicked his a**. Dub left the game, Carter went on to score a goal and played the rest of the nite.

Posted by dropdaglovesnow on March 06, 2012 at 09:00 PM

Carter from bell to bell.

Posted by brymaster1 on March 06, 2012 at 08:39 PM

A surprisingly good showing by Carter as he pick up the easy win.

Dubinsky is a bitch.

Carter steps on Dubinsky...Hard!

Posted by moramike on March 06, 2012 at 11:19 PM

"Mr. Dubinsky, this is the Prudential Center lost and found. We have your teeth, you may pick them up anytime tomorrow between 10 and 2".

Posted by ironbar44 on March 07, 2012 at 08:52 AM

that was sad

Posted by AC1026 on March 06, 2012 at 09:59 PM

Carter crushed him. Dubinsky took a beatin'

Posted by slarrivee11 on March 06, 2012 at 08:57 PM

All Carter

Posted by vaversano on March 07, 2012 at 01:00 AM

From the time he laid his gloves on ice, Dubinsk showed no agrression.

Posted by JethroGilles on March 06, 2012 at 11:09 PM

Dubinsky does not beat anybody and here he gets hammered.....

Posted by Randydepfer on March 07, 2012 at 09:47 AM

Carter all the way. Pretty good scrap and I respect their respect for each other

Posted by RangersSuck NJD on March 07, 2012 at 11:54 AM

What a game for Carter, he dominated this fight and added a goal later on. Clear W for Carter.

Posted by NJDichord on March 07, 2012 at 01:36 PM

Great fight. I dont even think Dubinsky returned during this game.

I know I give Stu Bickel a lot of crap, but I think Dubinsky has clearly evidenced this year that, if not for Brian Boyle, he is by far worst fighter on the Rangers..

Posted by chad420 on March 07, 2012 at 11:46 AM

Allday R.C Cola

Posted by kkdowning on March 09, 2012 at 03:47 AM

Dubi was dominated. Don't think that fight performance is going to have Torts thinking you are tough

Posted by WickedMonstah on March 07, 2012 at 11:07 AM

Carter with easy win. Dubinsky never recovers from first couple shots he takes. Commentator basically says Tortorella is forcing Dubinsky to fight more. Don't the Rangers already have the most fights lost? Why add to it?

Posted by SouthPaw017 on March 06, 2012 at 11:43 PM

Carter (a non-fighter) dominates Mary Jane Dubi.... Moramike with the perfect call... The Rangers played poorly, and the enforcers on their so called "toughest team in the league" failed to inspire..... Let's hope they have more come playoff time.

Posted by Wooly on March 06, 2012 at 10:45 PM

Carter all the way

Posted by travist on March 06, 2012 at 11:38 PM

well dubinsky might want to fight his coach next time he challenges him, might do better...

Posted by irishdefense on March 07, 2012 at 03:06 AM

I thought the fight was a 6, but gave it a 7 cause they both took their helmets off. Win Carter.

Posted by MakaveliTrained on March 07, 2012 at 11:34 AM

Carter dominated lil doob and what are you talking about 'range'? Clarkson was never challenged in this game so how can u say he ran from prust & rupp? prust was invisible all night and if rupp wanted to go, he'd go w/ cam or bolts u dummy
