Other Penalties: Carter received a double minor for roughing and game misconduct.
Fiddler comes flying in when Carter is semi engaged with another player, slaps him a few times then cowers like a chicken. Still can't believe there wasn't a 3rd man in penalty on Dallas for holding Bickel while another player takes a few punches. That's the definition of cheap for those calling Carter cheap.
Not a bad scrap...draw.
Carter with the easy "W"
Jonas Brodin is a joke...watching Bickel get held by Daily while he takes a punch, that is the time when you fight no matter what.
Glad to see some real emotion for a change. Fiddler looked like he meant business in this scrap.
Fiddler does his best imitation of a bitch and starts slapping. If Carter had a mullet he'd be pulling his hair too! If Carter realized who was slapping at him he should have just stood there and just rifled a straight jab on the button to finish him right away. Fiddler would have crumbled like last month's Christmas cookies. Is it me or does every Dallas player have the "I need to get punched in the face" look to them- kinda like Justin Bieber.
Finally a little feeling in a blowout. Bettman is probably having a hissy fit. Don't these guys know about the love your brother edict in the league this year. I call this one a draw.
Sure wish Cookie and Frenchie had decided..tellwiddit...and gone. Later, I'm sure.
nice scrum after the whistle...draw
That was kind of fun, should have one of those a night.
Fiddler starts firing punches at Carter and gains an early advantage. Carter gets Fiddler turned around and evens things up. Too close to call. Draw. Cooke and Roussel were having a ratfest off to the side. Lol.
That was fun! As far as this fight, it was more aggression than fighting but, Highly entertaining nonetheless I gave this fight a slight edge to Fiddler A highly mean 3
Who was it that said... "I went to a boxing match and a hockey game broke out"? Hard to say exactly what happened during this "three stooges-esque" free for all... But it was fun to watch and Fiddler appropriately did seem quite "crabby"
Carter bites of more than he can chew, and Fiddler let's him know "Don't mess with Texas!". Best punch was Demers on Bickel.... looked like a tag team match from the WWF of the 80s. Brodin sure had good seats for that tilt, he must know someone.
Carter tries to run the goalie and gets just what he deserved...an azz whipping. Good for Fiddler for jumping right in. All Fiddler and a 5.
Fiddler did great against a larger and more experienced scrapper for the edge
Now, don't ya just love these kinds of instances duing hockey games? Fidller gave Carter all he could handle and a little bit more, for the Win.
Well I have to say the movie was quite good .....but you really ought to read the book entitled FIDDLER BEATS A GOOF. our story begins with little Vernon taking exception to mean old mister Carter taking liberties with his buddy lehtinen......I don't want to give away too much of the storyline or plot......but there is a subliminal message near its end , a message that all here at hockey fights will enjoy. This story gets a rating of 7 solely based on the message it delivers.... Now everyone sing it ..... If I had some reach man......yaddle did ah yaddle did a yaddle dida dum ....all day long I'd battle on the ice battle on the ice....etc etc....lol
looked like Carter was more aggressive, not much landed though.
Fiddler was beating the crap out of Carter from beginning to end, although the camera didn't really focus on that fight the whole time
Fiddler feeds Carter's a bevy of knuckle sandwiches after Carter starts a riot with a cheap hit from behind, sending a player into the goalie. Carter, initially, looked like he was trying to run away, after Fiddler punched him dead in his face, before Fidler corralled him and started punching him again. Carter, in true coward fashion, throws a few cheap shots at Fiddler at the end of the fight when Fiddler is down on the ice. Easy win for Fiddler.
Vernon Fiddler doing his imitation of a 6th grade girl (or Alex Semin) with some odd slapping attempts to start the fight. But he ended up doing more than Carter once he got the gloves off and started throwing punches.
