both these teams suck

Posted by pmarz1 on May 06, 2011 at 05:01 PM

Maybe the douche bags calling out the few that voted for Horton should show their collective faces as well. O'Donnell doesnt land a punch, not one, yet tow thirds of you vote him the win? Only two things clear about this, it was a draw and not much of a fight.

Posted by mmadced on May 08, 2011 at 05:33 PM

boring non-fight, how can you rate a fight when nobody lands a punch. wrestling match at best. Say Sapunka16 no matter what site you go to you;re still a moron when it comes to hockey.

"Dumb Dumb" Horton did the right thing, made sure he didn't break his hand on the Philly goon they were beating on the score board in the playoffs.

Posted by staceyb on May 04, 2011 at 09:37 PM

Looked like OD was trying to scrape off his knuckles on Horton's noogie brush. Well, call it the only highlight of the game for the Flyers. The game was over in the first minute.

Posted by bruins rule on May 05, 2011 at 07:50 AM

not much going on in this fight. horton gets the gordie howe hat trick.

Posted by fernben8 on May 05, 2011 at 01:24 PM

The tale of he tape says 230 lbs vs 229 lbs.... Though O'Donnell looks so much heavier and thicker than Horton. O'Donnell threw some but with nothing major landing. Horton looked like he may have gotten one in at the start. Going with a Draw. Two likeable players...props to both. Hope this isn't the last fight of the year boys...

Not much punching going on,has to be a draw.Have to say O'Donnell pulled Horton's jersey a little harder than Horton pulled O'Donnell's,also O'Donnell has some good punches to the jersey ,possible sweater TKO.

Posted by Bruins29 on May 05, 2011 at 10:42 AM

O'Donnell wanted to hug, so that's what he got - a boring Draw.

I love guys who can score goals and fight...its refreshing.

Posted by sedinfan on May 05, 2011 at 12:08 AM

You got love both these guys, O'donnell still chucking him at his age and Horton just an all around great player. Horton reminds me of Jarome IGinla, not quite the scoring, but loves to play every minute he is out there and always treats the media with the utmost of respect.

Posted by gongermuskegon on May 05, 2011 at 12:17 PM

Horton obviously herd a who and answered the bell. This fight showed some promise at the beginning but that was it. The fight actually reminded me of the scene from step brothers where will ferrel tries to hug his brother but they kind of fight. Callin this sucker a lovey dovey draw

Posted by kbelanger33nyi on May 05, 2011 at 11:03 PM

Student Horton gets taught a lesson by Teacher Odonnell -Damn Flyers you must be kicking yourself..Could of gotten Roloson during the season. We would have taken Jeff Carter or JVR in return.

Posted by QUIGGS22 on May 06, 2011 at 06:57 AM

OD gets the win...props to both for dropping the gloves !

Posted by Behn Wilson on May 07, 2011 at 12:38 AM

For what it's worth...O'Donnell with a gold medal performance in the second annual, Flyers-Bruins, ''disinterested wrestling'' competition.

Posted by DARCY T on May 07, 2011 at 05:21 AM

win old donnell.gave it 4

Posted by murphnova on May 04, 2011 at 09:17 PM

Hey dumb dumb Horton has to throw a punch to win! O'Donnell wins in a wrestling match with a couple of punches.

Posted by Leafs2006 on May 04, 2011 at 10:30 PM

Horton hears a who, gets schooled by the veteran ODonnell, Horton is the ugliest person in the NHL.....whatta mug on him.........yikes! Whats that on Lucic's face??? And, whats that on Marchand's face???? Eagle beaks..

Who are the 7 morons that voted for Horton? He didn't land a single punch and was sticking his head in O'Donnell's armpit for most of the fight.

Posted by Blackbeard101 on May 05, 2011 at 12:14 AM

This affair would have scored an 8 on Dancing with the Stars....but a 4 on the ice. Clear win for Gramps O'Donnell. Maybe this will light some sort of flame under the Flyers. Bruins were lucky to escape the first round as they were outplayed most of the series by the Habs, but Philly seems to have taken their summer break a tad early. I guess they are just setting up for another miraculous comeback....they just need to find a way to steal Tim Thomas' lucky rabbits foot!!

Well since Horton is actually from my hometown of Dunnville On on Brookfield Boulevard and NOT Welland - I would love to say he won but he didn't, although he was suckered a couple times at the start and the OD mainly hit him in the back of the head, he did save his hands and scored the 4th goal totally deflating the Flyers so no biggie on a slight loss here. The way he has been playing since game 3 of round 1 it is better to save his hands. He will be putting on some clinics during reg season next year. STAY TUNED !!!

Posted by tpr1960 on May 04, 2011 at 10:16 PM

O'Donnell has kids older than Horton . Win O'donnell .

Posted by BooSanta on May 05, 2011 at 10:31 AM

OD (or OLDIE) gets the edge as it plays right into the B's hands. I've watched these 2 rivals closely over the years and noticed the team that gets the edge in the fight loses the game. The last shot from Oldie from behind the ref was probably the only real connector and it was a glancer at best. Oldie also the busier and smarter of the 2 combatants. Still a good close scrap and Horts was not as reckless as he usually is so this edge to Oldie didn't give the Flyers any adrenaline.

Is there any way to make the voting on here public so that we can name and shame the people who vote strictly down party lines? Hands up, who voted for Horton?

O'Donnell with most of the punches here. Good old valley boy... well sorta. Horton can't seem to land much. Clear win O'Donnell.

Posted by tonetone1 on October 20, 2011 at 11:08 PM

clear win OD

Posted by kinga101 on May 04, 2011 at 10:56 PM

Clear win for O'Donnell in an uneventful bout. Flyers probably should have done more of this from the beginning of the series. Goaltending has the been the big difference in this series.

Posted by Jordybats99 on February 02, 2016 at 11:27 AM

Ok fight. Edge Sean O'Donnell.

Posted by slshbleed on May 04, 2011 at 11:11 PM

Will you come to the land of O'Neill and O'Donnell Of Lord Lucan of old and the immortal O'Connell Where Brian chased the Dane and St. Patrick the vermin And whose valleys remain still most beautiful and charming Will you come, will you, will you, will you come to the bower

Odonnel in an easy win, too bad the team can't say the same Bruins to the finals? Look like it, they are peaking at the right time

Posted by jnk07899 on May 06, 2011 at 09:40 AM

Love me some playoff hockey fights.

Posted by hoeslapper17 on May 05, 2011 at 01:25 PM

Gotta Give it to OD. 40+ man takin on a youngin. And handling himself quite well. Good fight.

Posted by mcb798 on May 04, 2011 at 11:24 PM

BIG NATHAN HORTON pounds on the scummy flyer o'donnell in this scrap. flyers are terrible and they suck. flyers have terrible goaltending and i hope they get swept.

Posted by chad420 on May 07, 2011 at 11:03 AM

Horty landing the best blow...Salty Dog more active=Draw.....Nice job Bs erasing the Demons of playoff past..."I love the smell of napalm in the morning...smells like...Victory"

Posted by BostonBruins19 on May 04, 2011 at 09:44 PM

I initially was going to give it to O'donnell because he looked strong and did a good job of tiring Horton. But after watching this video online, nothing rly landed in this fight and Horton was still coming back, so I give it a draw and 5.

Posted by BritishRedWing on May 05, 2011 at 07:06 PM

OD with the win, and in fact, ten years from now he would still beat Horton.

Posted by Jpdonohue on May 04, 2011 at 09:00 PM

Pretty boring fight. But My vote definitely goes to O'Donnell

Posted by wannago_letsgo on May 06, 2011 at 11:06 AM

Its weird to watch a bruin fight and not hear some clown sounding like William Wallace rallying his troops in Braveheart. The win goes to VS for not having jack "I think i'm actually a bruin and i like to speak with no general idea of what i'm saying" edwards. Also to O'Donnell.

Posted by kkdowning on May 04, 2011 at 09:57 PM

Slight edge to old man o'donnell

Posted by NHO3713 on May 05, 2011 at 02:32 PM

doesnt matter how much of a draw this fight was, because nothing Philly did in this game deserves any sort of W, therefore, W to HORTON.

Posted by brokenhead on May 05, 2011 at 02:33 AM

@ Leafs 2006....... those are Playoff beards idiot.......not that you would know anything about [email protected] Leafs!!! and speaking of "beaks", you need your's smashed in!
