Clark throws a right and Bieksa answers with three quick rights to the side of Clark's head. The two throw locked-out rights to the back of each other's head and Bieska takes Clark's helmet off. Bieksa throws an uppercut just before the two fall to the ice. The linesmen come in and end the fight shortly after.

Comments: Erskine is clearing the front of the Caps' net and as the puck moves away he seeks out Chris Simon. They drop the gloves and just start swinging, Erskine with the rights, Simon with the lefts. They each land a couple, and Simon pauses to regain his balance as Erskine throws a wild shot that becomes a body shot, and pauses for a quick moment while Simon starts throwing lefts again. Erskine goes for a big right that helps throw Simon off-balance. Simon goes to a knee and as Erskine is losing his balance, Simon helps bring him down to the ice and gets in a left as the linesmen come in.

Comments: Erskine runs into McGrattan along the boards and McGrattan returns the favor by knocking Erskine to the ice. Donald Brashear skates over and shoves McGrattan, but Erskine quickly gets up to his feet and drops his gloves, forcing McGrattan to do the same. Erskine throws a right cross to start things off, but McGrattan fires back with a right that sends Erskine falling to the ice. Erskine gets back up and throws a right. McGrattan follows with a series of jersey-jabs and Erskine answers with two rights to the back of McGrattan's head. McGrattan throws a right of his own and Erskine connects with two body shots just before they go back and forth with some rights. McGrattan then lands two hard rights that send Erskine down to a knee and the linesmen quickly step in to end the fight.

Comments: The whistle blows to stop play and Brashear skates over to Bois. The two shove each other and decide to drop the gloves. They grapple for position and end up against the boards where Bois throws a short left. Bois throws a body shot and another short left. Brashear starts unloading with the left hand, connecting with seven straight to the side of Bois' helmet while Bois tries to move away from the punches and throws a stray left of his own. Brashear switches hands and throws a right, but the two lose their balance and fall to the ice with the linesmen right there to break things up.

Comments: The two drop the gloves and square off at center ice. They grab ahold of each other and Parros throws two rights to start things off. Brashear gets his left hand free and throws three quick lefts to the side of Parros' helmet. Parros comes back with a body shot and they pause for a moment until Parros throws an uppercut from underneath. Parros throws a right hook that misses and Brashear then tries to yank Parros' jersey off, knocking off his helmet. Brashear then throws four straight lefts with two connecting and Parros throws a right just before they fall to the ice. The linesmen are right there to break things up while the two slide across the ice.

After a short square off they grab ahold of each other and Erskine strikes first with a right while Thornton tries to block the punch with his left hand. Erskine throws four more rights and Thornton answers back with two lefts, one of them knocking Erskine down to the ice. Thornton throws a right while Erskine is down, but allows him to get back up to his feet. Erskine misses with three more rights and Thornton throws two lefts just before they fall down. The linesmen are right there to grab them and the end the fight.

They grab onto each other and Moen misses with a right that Bradley is able to duck under. Moen throws two more rights and an uppercut and Bradley tries to respond with a right, but loses his balance and fights to stay on his feet. Moen throws two rights to the back of Bradley's helmet before ripping it off. Bradley lands a right and then shakes off his elbow pad. Moen returns fire with a right of his own and Bradley throws three more rights, following with a left that misses wide after that. Moen throws two more rights to the back of Bradley's head. Bradley's jersey comes up and over his head and they exchange simultaneous rights. They start wrestling around as the linesmen start skating in to save Bradley. Moen is able to press Bradley up against the boards, but the linesmen are right there to break things up.

Roy shoots for Brashear and throws three rights just before switching hands and landing some short lefts to the side of Brashear's helmet. Roy switches back to the right and continues to feed Brashear short punches to the side of the head while mixing in an uppercut during the flurry. Brashear tugs Roy, knocking him off-balance and takes advantage of the situation by landing three rights, the last of them knocking Roy's helmet off. Brashear connects with two quick lefts and they go back and forth with lefts while in tight. They get loose and Brashear throws a right with Roy returning fire with two of his own until he loses his balance and falls to the ice. Brashear gets in a left while he is down, but the linesmen are right there to break things up.

Comments: Behind the play the two grab each other and quickly toss the sticks and gloves aside. They start things off by exchanging a few rights and body shots while each one tries to get set up. Walker connects with three rights to the back of Clark's head. Clark returns fire with a whipping right of his own and Walker lands another one to the back of Clark's head. Clark then goes inside with an uppercut that just misses the target. Walker continues to throw rights to the back of Clark's head, eventually knocking his helmet off. Clark comes back with a right during the flurry and Walker keeps on throwing rights to the back of Clark until the linesmen step in and end the fight.

They wrestle around for a short while until Reich gets free and throws two rights. Clymer is able to lock Reich out again, but Reich quickly gets loose and throws a flurry of three more rights while Clymer struggles to do anything. Clymer is finally able to land a short body shot in response, but Reich is able to tie him up. They then grapple once again to try and get position, but the linesmen move in and break things up before anything else can happen.

The two get their sticks up and then drop the gloves, grabbing ahold of each other near the boards. Hollweg throws an early left and Sutherby comes back with four straight rights just before pulling Hollweg's helmet off. Hollweg is able to get Sutherby's helmet off as well and Sutherby then throws another right. They wrestle around along the glass and Sutherby tries to shake his elbow pad off. Sutherby throws another right and Hollweg gets Sutherby's jersey up and over his head, forcing the linesmen to intervene and end the fight. Other Penalties: Sutherby received a charging.

Orr misses with a big right but is able to come back with two rights to Brashear's ear while his elbow pad falls off during the process. Brashear twists Orr to throw him off-balance and throws a left just as Orr returns fire with a right. Brashear then connects with another right that sends Orr to the ice. The linesmen quickly jump on top of them and things are broken up.

Gleason then throws a right cross that misses because Clymer is already falling to his knees. Clymer gets back up to his feet and the two wrestle around until the linesmen are ready to intervene.

Peters loses his balance and falls to the ice, but is quick to get back up to his feet. Peters comes back with two rights, but loses his balance once again and goes down to his knees, bringing Brashear down with him. They get back up and Brashear throws three lefts at the back of Peters' head. Peters returns fire with three rights while Brashear is able to mix in two lefts in between the shots. Brashear pulls Peters down to the ice and then throws five lefts to the back of Peters' head when he gets back up. Peters throws a left and Brashear answers with a flurry of seven straight lefts of his own. Peters throws another left and Brashear then connects with one final left that knocks Peters to the ice. Brashear falls on top of Peters and the linesmen are right there to grab them and break things up. Other Penalties: Peters received an unsportsmanlike conduct.
