Sutherby runs into Henrik Lundqvist behind the net, causing Hollweg to immediately go after Hollweg. The two get their sticks up and then drop the gloves, grabbing ahold of each other near the boards. Hollweg throws an early left and Sutherby comes back with four straight rights just before pulling Hollweg's helmet off. Hollweg is able to get Sutherby's helmet off as well and Sutherby then throws another right. They wrestle around along the glass and Sutherby tries to shake his elbow pad off. Sutherby throws another right and Hollweg gets Sutherby's jersey up and over his head, forcing the linesmen to intervene and end the fight. Other Penalties: Sutherby received a charging.

Clear win Sutherby. He landed a couple decent ones and outthrew Hollweg. Props to the Ranger for sticking up for his goalie and to Suds for getting something going in what should have been and was a nasty game.

This is the best kind of fight. That little wiggy guy sticking up for his goalie. You almost have to give it to the little wiggy guy just on pure guts and loyalty. He didn't land much of anything, however.

Good fight. Hollweg did what he had to do to stick up for his goalie. Just when Hollweg put the jersey over the Sutherby's head, and the refs got in. I believe if the fight continued, maybe Hollweg would have thrown some more punches.

always great to see the D come in for the goalie but hollweg was totally out of his element with sutherby

No instigator, here? I'm glad. Maybe the refs are finally catching on. I've seen m any times where someone hits a goalie or another player from behind and the guy who wants to do something about it gets the instigator, which is crap. And has Hollweg won a fight yet? Not a very good fighter. I like this rivalry, Washington and NY Rangers.

Sutherby trucks the goalie, then fends off Hollweg, who I didn't think was a fighter, but clearly underestimated Sutherby. Sutherby landed some decent shots, but unfortunately got the jersey pulled over his head.

I say it was a draw. Hollweg finished up pretty good. Hollweg doing his job, standing up for Lundqvist. Good fight.

Rangers have dominated the Caps on the ice all year, but haven't won a single fight. Brashear owns Colton Orr and Shanny, and Sutherby dominated Hollweg.

not to good a fight i love hollweg but doesnt fight as much as i would like, he could get his right free, refs shoulda let it go longer
