Steve MacIntyre vs Derek Boogaard

Macintyre hangs on for deal life this time and gets a draw out of it. Macintyre probably saved Stortini from brain surgery.

Mac redeems himself for the earlier loss but I'll call the rematch even. And Stortini lives to see another day and another beating.

Doesn't matter--after the fast start the Oilers have blown out a piston or two.

Would have been nice if MacIntyre took this one to even the score this night and build the hype for the #1 position for the heavies.
Had his chance to move up the ladder but not meant to be this time around.

very gentlemanly of mac to step in. definitely should've probably ate a few more oranges before square-going again, but what am i gonna do, tell them how to fight? calling it a draw, and that is the problem with SUCH a good fighter in boogaard, is the only way to survive is to get in close and tie him up. makes for a nerve-wracking fight waiting for someone to get free and throw a bomb, but 9 times out of 10, it will end up close and personal with no real winner.

Stortini-Boogaard would have been more interesting with a fresh but wimpy Stortini and a tired but lethal Boogy.
This one was a draw on account of mutual exhaustion.

Mac makes a recovery from the first tilt, but this one ends in a draw.

Both landed same i think, there is no clear advantage by either man.
Boogaard answered with his haymakers as looked like MaCintyre was taking a win in the end.
