I don't think that the scrap, itself,
turned out to be as easy as Thornton imagined it would be...
but in the end, and not surprisingly,
the fighter seemed to gain the edge on the non-fighter
in this close, but uneventful bout.

Thornton has been getting into more fights than usual lately.

I had Regehr slightly ahead on punch count till he fell.
I'm starting to really appreciate Thornton as a fighter...does his job well and a class act !
Worthy of a Draw.

Surprisingly tame Jack Edwards call here. Thornton gets the win in this good tilt.

Regehr threw and landed more for the win.

regehr lands one of those punches in the early stages but then Thornton takes over.

Win Thornton as Regehr tried to hold onto him like a baby on a nipple. Any guy named Robin deserves to get beat up anyways! What an overpaid plug he is. Nothing like trying to get your team fired up when you're already down 4-0 in the 3rd period to a team that can barely score 4 goals in 4 weeks. That doesn't show heart and competitiveness, it shows a lack of intelligence and desire for not doing it when it actually might have mattered.
Enjoy having your off season start the first week of April Robin. Then again, that might not be such a bad thing as it will prevent you from having to spend any extra time in Calgirlsarehairy than what any person should have to be forced into!

Claire, once again you've made yourself look foolish, which is pretty funny considering what day it is today. Did you do this on purpose and you're that much of a masochist or are you just that stupid? I'm going with the latter. Although Darcy might not be the manliest of names, it is more often associated with being a dude than it is with being a chick. Quite frankly, I'm not too sure if there is another name that is more associated with being a chick than what Robin is...oh wait a minute, there is one...do the the letters C-L-A-I-R-E put together ring a bell? They should and now I know why you were so offended by my comments. I guess I would be too if I went by the name of Claire and I was supposed to be a dude. I guess me mentioning that a guy with a chick name deserving to get beat up really pushed a button with you and brought you back to the times in the playground when the other girls beat you up eh...oh wait a minute, you're apparently not supposed to be a girl...well other than in name that is.

Claire/Sling, so you go on a hockey fight site and somehow miraculously come up with a chicks name? I wonder how many other supposed dudes have a chick name as their user name?Sounds logical...about as logical as 99.99% of your comments and posts. I don't remember seeing a lot of Betty's, Cloris's, Ingrid's and Gertrude's on here but you somehow manage to pick a old lady's name as your user name. Well done. Most of us pick our favorite fighters and you pick your own name because you were named after your grandma!

Also, I don't ever remember saying that I was a tough guy, even though I've probably been in more altercations and fights than what you've had hot meals. Some were and are regulated but most weren't. But after all is said and done,I'm still as good looking and handsome as ever.

Very original on the parents basement thing....almost like I haven't read other members use that comment about a million times to describe posters that they've had beefs with. You've got to step your game up a bit more than that bitch!

I have never liked sack-o-**** Regehr. I want to see him get pounded everytime he fights. Unfortunately I didn't get to see that here because he was fighting Thornton. It would be an understatement to say that Thornton is having a horrific year in the fighting department this season...

Regehr throws a big hit into Thornton and Thornton gets pissed. They drop the gloves and grab on right in front of the penalty boxes. Thornton is throwing some rights and Regehr is throwing some rights of his own. Thornton then switches and throws a few lefts and Regehr gets in a right or two before Thornton wrestles Regehr down.
