Neil is just a solid fighter -- handles Regehr quite easily in my opinion and he is the kind of player that any team would like --

Top drawer tilt pitting Neil's skill against Regher's heart

Despite the visor
the latter gains my respect
in a hard fought loss
and I would have said the same for Neil
had he not decided to throw that last ground punch

Neil overwhelmed Regehr with the combination rights and lefts but he snuck in that last shot when Regehr was down.

Great fight, Regehr is not a great fighter and doesn't fight very often, but he holds his own against a better fighter.

Excellent scrap -- Regehr did better than expected, but slight edge to Neil

Neil is just the tougher man, plain and simple.... Props to Regehr for hanging tough....

Great bout with both guys throwing and landing. Not surprised to see Neil get his usual cheap one in at the end.

Regeher was willing and throwing some dandies, but I have to give the decision to Neil.

Neil early & often plus a couple lefts. Thought it would be closer but Regher couldnt get started. Good thing his helmet stayed on.

Neil wins again! Regehr got what he ask for.....

typical Neil. he was running around all game delivering cheap shots because he knew Scott and Mccormick were out of the lineup, he then jumps a defensemaen. Regehr stood toe to toe for a while but neil with the decision. Even though he threw one of his patented late cheap shots at the end.

Great efforts by both. Neil the edge in a hard fought battle

The uppercut about half way through from Neil goofied Regehr. Regehr was just hanging on for mercy for the take down.

Regehr landed a couple early in the fight and showed a little bit too much disrespect for a much better fighter. This is only a good idea if the few you land early takes him out - which they didn't. In this case, they just served to piss Neil off.

Regehr did a hell of a job for not being much of a fighter. Neil is an absolute lowlife for that cheap shot at the end. Win Neil. Bammer - Scott didn't dress for the game.

No problem Bammer. He hasn't been out there much and really what's the point? They don't need him there to enforce because they aren't going anywhere anyway.
