Would have rather seen the original pairing...

Quoted RiffRaff, not Rugby...on the last fight.
My bad.

I don't see this as a third man in, but I sure would have liked to have seen Ovechkin fight. Downie saw Bradley coming all the way, and knew what to expect. Anyone calling out Ovechkin on this turn of events: Tell me you wouldn't want him on your team. I live in DC and I'm not a huge Cap fan, but name a team or a player who wouldn't come to Ovechkin's defense (not that he needs it) in a situation like this.

This was actually a fight where Bradley did well.
He EDGED Downie BECAUSE he landed more punches.
His punches were good ones for sure!!
He got takendown but i don't count takedowns.
Bradley won by punch-count, outlanding his opponent simply.
Good short fight.

I don't know if not answering the bell is accurate by the announcer. Ovechkin was ready and Bradley just stepped in for his Captain as the helmet was put to the ice. .

Bradley has the edge in this "fight".

Somebody tell Downie that it's not cool to fight the "superstars" in the league..great job by Bradley to defend his captain.Dinner on Ovechkin..Brads!

Stated perfectly Heywood Jablomi

How can anyone give this to Downie? He threw one measly punch. Bradley took this fight, but I can understand a draw.

Bradley is worthless

looks like a draw, bradley was doing his job, but the caps had better get some muscle at the trade deadline, or they will have real trouble in the play-offs

I'll tell you who didn't win the fight- Captain O. What a puss... Even Sid fights for himself once in a while

Talk about being a teammate. Bradley gets the W for more punches landed.

Downie, but barely. He's the best "pest" in the league right now. I'm posting before the video comes up, so I hope it shows how Bradley stole this dance from Ovechkin. Too funny.

nice job by "Ovechicken"....for once in my life I admired downie here....the gutless OV had a chance to actually take a step toward becoming a power forward, but.....NAH...one of his babysitters had to come to the rescue.

Great to see Bradley come to protect his captain. i dont care if ovechkin was willing, he would have gotten pummelled. Props to Bradley for his "role" in this fight.

looks like ovi found a way to dodge his first nhl fight again. they probably have it in their gameplan to send somebody off the bench like that in case ovi ever gets in a bind hah
