Laperriere with a great hit, and the 3 millionth draw of his carear.

Lappy left his feet for that hit and that's a no-no in Colin Campbell's world. He was the only Flyer who showed up to play last night.

Laperriere, lol. Draw. Nice hit. I believe that was sarcasm by the announcer re: 3 fight rule.

I love these homer announcers. Laperriere shows up 5 seconds late and Richards kneed Weis earlier. So wrong. Clean hits both times around that resulted in ugly fights for Laperriere.

Florida - skate with your head up.

Crap fight. The charging major is a bad call. I've seen Ovechkin take longer runs at guys many times and not get called for anything.

Looked like Laperriere wanted to fight the whole Florida roster. Too bad there wasn't a half decent fight out of any of them...sad.

I'm not a fan of the Flyers and can't stand Laperriere, but a charging MAJOR?!?! You've got to be kidding me. You can see him start to come into the frame at about the hashmarks at the beginning of the clip & he doesn't take a single stride the entire way through the hit! Late? He hit him about a half second after he got rid of the puck, that's not late. Yeah, he left his feet, but hand, stick, elbows were down & contact was made with the body, not the head. Should have been a minor at worst. I've seen much worse get no call.

Mimccauley, in your description of the fight, you basically defined a charging penalty. Nowhere in the rules is specify how many strides you need to take. "Charging shall mean the actions of a player who, as a result of distance traveled, shall violently check an opponent in any manner." He got a major because he clearly jumped into the hit, which created a very dangerous play. If it wasn't for the fact that Oreskovich is 6'3" 215lbs and saw him at the last second, he'd be down for the count and everyone would be talking suspension. It was a predatory hit and good on Seidenberg to stick up for his teammate.

Laperriere knew he was wrong and saw this coming. Third fight of the night, just doing all he can to not get his a** handed to him. Too whipped to have a real go with Seidenberg, to bad it would have been good.
