Lousy, what was up with McGratton

McGrattan loses through lack of interest/participation.

Posted by tleahey on March 21, 2009 at 11:04 PM

McGrattan was hurt and couldn't deal...having a bad shoulder myself...I can't believe he even tried to do anything at all. A gamer. crappy fight though...

Pretty even, I think. Slight edge to Parros(man I hate his moustache)! I wish someone would slam it off!

Posted by kryon24 on March 25, 2009 at 09:39 AM

What has happened to McGratten? He should have been able to handle The Stash. Couple of shots and Stash would be doing one of those cartoon banana slips and falls down. Looks as if McG hurt his shoulder again. Hope not as it's always entertaining when he goes toe to toe with the other heavies (as long as they are willing).

McGrattan's done. His constant shoulder problems will be the demise of his career.

Posted by Leafs2006 on March 20, 2009 at 11:27 AM

McGratton is finished......he's a highway hockey league player now, is all

Posted by Angel of Sin on March 20, 2009 at 10:36 PM

Porno George opts for some softcore action here that doesn't amount to much.

Posted by plum29 on March 20, 2009 at 08:35 PM

one more thing, you talk about the CODE, good thing that Parros is a real class act because he could have started wailing away on McGrattan but didn't. he knew McGrattan was hurt.

Posted by Nikita_23 on March 26, 2009 at 07:11 PM

Horrible, McGrattan have lost some skills man!!

Posted by sensticks on March 20, 2009 at 01:13 AM

What the hell was that at the end? Looks like McG was knocked silly but I didn't see anything land...

Posted by brad houghton on March 20, 2009 at 06:52 AM

watched Parros left close and i'm not sure if it did much damage? McGrattan looked off....also looked like he was possibly favoring his right shoulder just a bit after the fight.....i watched it a second time and it appeared when McGrattan came over the top with his right it got hung up or blocked and that might have been where he could have done some damage to his shoulder......i hope i'm wrong Parros got a pretty easy win against a sub par McGrattan

Posted by vortases002 on March 20, 2009 at 09:38 AM

McGrattan didn't seem himself. He looked slow, almost tired.

Posted by tattooedkingpin on March 20, 2009 at 04:32 PM

Mcgratton looked almost unconscious the way parros was manhandeling his body. odd. cant say ive really ever seen anything quite like that.

Posted by hughcares on March 20, 2009 at 08:53 AM

McGratton is back to his old ways - must be back on the bottle again.

Posted by blackgoldfan on March 20, 2009 at 10:05 PM

parros but not by much. looks like mcgratton got hurt b4 he could get anything going. these 2 will want a rematch.

Posted by GSP09 on March 21, 2009 at 12:24 AM

win Parros

Posted by ogie ogiltorpe on March 20, 2009 at 08:50 PM

looked like 2 drunken bums flailing after last call....expected more from McGrattan after he dominated Shelley but win Parros I guess

Posted by pepsigenerate on March 22, 2009 at 11:30 AM

parros stunned McGrattan twice in this bout ,first one was when parros first made contact and second shot after the body shot is what made McGrattan,s eyes and head to wobble around and down the ice he goes. A shoulder injury was just an excuse from McGrattans fans and the commentator. I,v seen McGrattan pull that fake shoulder injury before when he lost to Andrew Peters and then with George Laraque and then with Riley Cote, back east.

Posted by GloveChucker on March 20, 2009 at 11:50 AM

Parros, barely a fight

Posted by Behn Wilson on March 20, 2009 at 10:51 PM

Sloppy is the word, as McGrattan starts badly, flails around enough to make George look like he has good balanace (imagine!) and finally, falls, shoulder injury style, to the ice. Bad follow up to the Shelley fight, with questionable tactics throughout.

Posted by OneilltheGiant on March 20, 2009 at 05:52 AM

Parros lands two good punches in this fight and McGrattan just seems to fold... as they came together Parros lands a solid left that jerks McGrattans head back then latter when Parros lands a right hand McGrattan's head goes floppy and he soon goes down to the ice. Win Parros in this one.

Posted by mikebflorida on March 20, 2009 at 10:14 AM

Parros with the win.

Posted by creeperama on March 26, 2009 at 08:45 AM

McGratten is a loser, he should start doing drugs again. What a turtle

Posted by PornStache on March 20, 2009 at 01:39 AM

Weird fight because McGrattan looked like he was going to faint before he even got into it

Posted by kimocoyote on March 21, 2009 at 02:43 AM

It looked like Parros got one on Brian and the fight was over immediately. Parros proves once again he is not a goon. He could have put a waste on McGrattan and didn't. In the Anaheim clip it appears Parros is indicating he doesn't know what happened. Oh well, Brian had one good fight since his comeback. Those of us old enough to remember reminds me of the first Liston Clay fight when Liston's shoulder went out???

Posted by bruiseyoureye on March 20, 2009 at 12:54 PM

parros put a beating on much for the comeback of mcgratton and lots of people on here just because he beat up little girly jody shelley that he was the #1 heavyweight in the league......gimme a fukin break.......i mean its good to see him back and all......but posting the #1 heavyweight label tag on him is just absurd and moronic

Posted by tyler1 on March 20, 2009 at 06:26 AM

what the hell was that? mac collapse into a stupor? still dont see how he blew out the shoulder.

Posted by crosscheck52 on March 20, 2009 at 07:51 AM

As much as I like McGrattan, this was an easy Parros victory.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on February 11, 2013 at 01:44 AM

Good showing by Parros.

Posted by Mikkel H. on March 22, 2009 at 03:34 PM

a W for Parros . he could have killed the hurt McGrattan but didnĀ“t . as plum29 wrote : talk about the code. yeah thats a win in my book

Posted by huddles on March 20, 2009 at 06:11 PM

mcgrattan looked drunk, rehab did not work for him, something definitely went wrong and it was not a punch, more like a flashback to rehab

Posted by BigRob1 on March 20, 2009 at 01:46 AM

If you look real close the first left by George landed right on the chin of McGrattan. That stunned him and then he looked like he may have tweaked something in the upper body. Win for Parros.

Posted by Luque1 on March 20, 2009 at 09:39 PM

Mc really looks like to be on methadon or Subutex, is he? Seemed to be groggy.

Posted by ShuterMcGav on March 21, 2009 at 01:22 PM

What was that garbage?

Posted by adambomb13 on March 20, 2009 at 10:01 AM

That was weird indeed. The best part was when they showed that punk azz beeyotch Ulf Samuelsson at the end. He was the ultimate cheap shot artist who would NEVER EVER throw em'. I loved when Tie Domi punched his azz into the net with the greatest sucker punch I ever saw. Man did he have that coming, mind you Domi could have knocked him into the net face to face. I miss Domi.

parros gets the win in this fight.

Posted by Taubi on March 20, 2009 at 11:53 AM

win parros. mcgratton = tired? or what was that?

Posted by Mr. Sin Bin on March 20, 2009 at 03:01 PM

I think McLovin accidently got mustache wax on his hands and had an allegeric reaction. And thank god announcer Darren Pang didnt say " Holy Jumpin". He was a good goalie, he's an ok anouncer, but that saying has got to go!

Posted by HerbRaglan on March 20, 2009 at 02:06 AM

something was wrong with mcgratton either before or during that scrap. he was eager to see it end and that is not like him.

Posted by Towmater on March 20, 2009 at 02:10 PM

If Parros had balance he would be top 5 in the league

Posted by Iceboss on March 20, 2009 at 09:25 PM

TKO Win Parros..

Posted by chopsy61 on April 08, 2009 at 09:13 AM

Posted by tomales2 on March 20, 2009 at 02:16 AM

Very sloppy. I didn't see anything of any significance landed. Weird "fight." Unimpressive. Draw

Posted by RhonaMitra1 on March 21, 2009 at 10:24 AM

nothing landed = draw

Posted by azjim on March 21, 2009 at 07:08 AM

Draw. McGrattan hurt his shoulder when his arm landed on Parros' shoulder. It's hard to judge a fight based on that.

Posted by swany65 on March 20, 2009 at 02:19 AM

didn't mcgratton injure his should a couple years ago in a fight?

Posted by kitcarnut on March 24, 2009 at 04:10 PM

What the hell was that? Is mac done? never seen a display like that.not sure what to say.

Posted by wannago_letsgo on March 20, 2009 at 01:42 AM

I guess Parros gets the win, not sure what happens to McGrattan there, didn't look good for him though, seemed like his arms got caught up in the jersey and messed his shoulder up? I don't know, I can't tell, but there was something unnatural about the way his arms were moving toward the end of it. Too bad if he ends up injured here it was nice to see him back

Posted by Dijo on March 20, 2009 at 08:48 PM

It was good to see McGratten lose. He wasn't waving his arms to the crowd after this fight. Karma is a bitch. All that waving he did after the Shelley fight came back on him tonight. I hate that stuff. It's hard to support a guy when he shows up his opponent after he wins. He did it to Shelley in his last fight and he's done it in the past. After watching the Shelley fight I remembered why I hated this guy so much. No class ever.

Posted by TrueBlue26 on March 20, 2009 at 01:04 PM

ehh i guess u can give parros the win here

Posted by Oil Can Henry on March 20, 2009 at 01:50 PM

The fight wasn't very good, but McGrattan showed nothing - he looked awful.

Posted by mclean1907 on March 23, 2009 at 01:12 AM

McGrattan came into the fight hands down giving Parros the first and only well placed shot. After some tussling and really no well places punches, McGrattan "falls" to his knees and ducks for cover. The end.

Posted by snowave on March 20, 2009 at 02:18 AM

parros with the win with a possible couple connects... but yeah, something else was up there.

Posted by H.i.t.m.a.n 514 on March 20, 2009 at 05:44 PM

easy win parros
