McGrattan goes on offence quickly, in attempting to properly introduce himself to the hometown faithful. Meanwhile, back at the ranch... a stitched-up, Parros, responds with clever defence, in an evenly-matched, cautious, battle of two, true ''heavies''. Side bar... Nashville has never had a presence quite like McGrattan in their line-up before... and as a result...I sense a new Predator swagger this season..
I call it a draw. Parros more on the defense but with McGeat hitting nothing but air or helmet. Can tell nothing landed because the stitches were never reopened which one punch to the face would of. Call it a draw and would give it a 5.5 rating if I could but I will give it 6.
Parros throwing some good combos and hanging in there while McGrattan throwing some that weren't to effective despite the more aggressive mode by McGrattan which probably why they give him a decision.McGrattan also trys to take advantage of Parros stitched eye but couldn,t pull it off.
Parros early, McGrattan middle, draw at the end. Draw. Suprised that so many see this as a clear McGrattan win. Maybe an edge for the helmet punches but an 'easy win' nah. Neither was worse for the wear and both were chucking till their arms failed.
Subtract all of McGrattan punches to Parros' helmet and we have a draw.
Agree with fernben here. Although I knew why he was so defensive to begin with, McGrattan is doing well for himself. He earned his spot in the pros this season. Gave it a draw.
When I looked at the lopsided voting I was figuring that McGratton pummeled Parros but CLEARLY the voters saw what thay wanted to see, not what actuaklly happened... Gratts threw many more but really people, how many connected? clearly a DRAW Glad to see peeps are generally stupid and not just a bunch of B's haters... thats a relief!
alot of swinging, alot of pushing & pulling...
Solid 7. Wondering if BM knew about the cut to GP? I voted draw but could see an edge to BM. Stache fought a VERY smart fight to protect that eye.
nice McGrattan held advantage, but not really a "win" as it seemed Parros came to it out of adherance to the code. A rematch can be meaty.
Great fight by 2 of the biggest heavys in the league. Draw and 8's all the way around.
Good tilt. Parros on the defensive, McGratton on the offensive--as expected. McGrattan looks a little cocky in his fights this year; could be in for a KO if he keeps opening his jaw.
PISS POOR hot dog move at the end by McGatten
parros fought smartly but mcgrattan got the edge in the second half of fight eventually.gave it 5
Strange to see Parros fight defensively, but when i heard about the stitches i understood McGrattan landed clean shots and Parros too, but McGrattan landed more, good fight, simple to judge
Mcgarattan with the win
Uncle George was happy to get the hell out of that one. McGrat's gets crazier acting (and looking) from one drug rehab to the next.
it was a draw up untill 40 seconds but then brian took over
Towards the end McGrattan got in a few shots that seemed to stun George Boy... Might've even ripped his mustache off... Overall boring fight despite two of the more reputable enforcers going toe to toe.... McGratts with the slight edge....
McGratton takes care of the Stache in this bout!
Parros wanted nothing to do with McGrattan. Clear win for McGratten and tell the announcers to stop crying.
Mc Grattan slight edge over the cut up Parros. Both are big and slow.....
mac had parros dazed and confused from beginning to end.mac seems like hes off the sauce, good for him.
Looks like Anaheim released the wrong guy???? Statement made by McGrattan; "I'm back" ... as a Bruins fan, I wish they gave Brian a chance last season.
Parros took it way too cautious with his stitches. Gratz with the convincing win. This was a mean game after Mike Fisher got knocked out in the first period.
McGratton came a long way to send his regards, almost looked like a charging call. I was wondering why Parros was fighting so defensively...? As the announcer mentioned, he had fresh stitches under his eye... then I could certainly understand why. Nice to see McGrattan doing well again, Not much landed but will give nod to him for being the aggressor. Gave it a 6.
McGrattan handled Ron Jeremy quite well in that bout.
Win for McGrattan. Good scrap. Parros took more shots.
BmcG with some big mc punches has parros mc ducking and takes that one from the get-go. But the Avery-esque kisses-blowing ending makes him look like a big mc douche.
If he can keep himself out of rehab for an entire year, Nashville games might be fun to watch. Parros actually stayed on his feet, however, might have been a good idea to fall earlier.
Good fight, edge to McGrattan.
nice battle 2 big heavyweights here ..
McGrattan is awfully tough to beat.
Brian is the real deal folks and he betters George in this tilt!Next to Scott he,s probably the toughest in the NHL!
mcgrattan gets the win in this fight.
McGrattan wins against one of the toughest guys in the league.
Very slight edge to McGrattan
No doubt that McGrattan in a top 10 in the nhl
DO-MI-NA-TION for McGrattan!!!
Good scrap. McGratten gets the win.
Good, hard fight. Clear advantage to McGrattan in this one.
Good fight. Looked to me like Parros was trying to protect that cut
Parros starts out strong, then fizzles.
Gratz wins easy
Nice one. McGrattan kept the pressure on making Parros back up for most of the fight.
I had trouble finding punches the Grats landed...but He may have land one or two good ones. Mostly he missed short. But Big George was not able to land much either. Grats gets the vote for being busiest. Good Go!
solid solid scrap!
Good fight, McGrattan landed way more. Win
good to see heavyweights still exist in the nhl McGrattan wins no problem
Excellent fight between two old school fighters. Gratts with the win, pummeling the Stache at the last 1/4 of the bout. Good one.
Nice showing by McGrattan, hat goes off to Parros after taking a puck to the face in practice and being willing to fight. Nashville plays Chicago next will McGrattan and Scott GO???
VERY VERY good heavyweight bout.. McGrattan with the win
very close but I think George had better shots in the fight..
Parros landed the most shots - McGratton (the big goof!) mostly hit the back of George's helmet
Hey big Mac. You lost. You threw many more, but never hit Parros. Had you hit him, you would have opened up his stitches. Parros fought smart, defensive to protect his injured face. Win Stasche. Some of you need a vision check. Mac threw, but never hit him. Yep, more aggressive, but he lost, plain and simple. Idiots on this site.
Ok its easy to see whitch fighter is popular here! I dont know what you guys are watching, but parros landed best bunches and McGrattan mostly hit the helmet or shoulder. I was giving a draw, but getting pissed off and im saying win Parros
Parros shots landed better and more frequent. All of McGrattan's punches missed until the tail end of the fight.
Mcgrattan had more punches, but Parros landed more of them, with bigger impact. Gotta give him extra point for going at after a puck to the face. It would've been a different fight otherwise, and he still did well. Was going to call it a Draw until Mcgrattan acts like a douche and blows kisses. That was your teammate two weeks ago, and you've been playing up or less then two weeks. Don't get ahead of yourself buddy.
This was *not* McGrattan's first game with the Preds as the announcers suggested....wasn't even his first fighting major
Can't give a win to a guy who seeks out a fight with an opponent who's already banged up.
Mostly McGrattan here as Parros just tried to keep his distance to avoid having those stitches split opened. To Behn Wilson, I believe Nashville had some guy named Wade Belak for a few years, he wasn't exactly a feather-weight.
It was a shame Parros couldn't fight to his full here.
not alot of serious punches landed, but I'll give the edge to MG... sure wish the Ducks wouldn't have let him go, but no room with Parros I guess. Parros did look hesitant with the stitches. The blowing kisses to the crowd thing was kinda weak, however.
...McGratton was certainly the aggressor - don't think the punches had all-that much of an effect, though --- still gets the slight win,.....
They said Parros got punched in practice. Anyone know the deals of that?
Parros is a chump.....He sure knows how NOT to get the shit kicked outa him but that doesn't mean he's a good fighter and he sure as hell doesn't throw very well He's real big but for his reach and size I'd say he's a Pantie Waste Lmao :)
Decent fight, McGratton landed a couple more good shots to get the nod here.
McGrattan takes this slo-mo fight...expected more here
Good scrap, McGrattan gets the win, mainly because Parros was much more defensive than his normal falling-down and throwing big rights self
Gratts laying some Smack Down on Ron Jeremy & the Ducks...wish the Bs had room for him...even though Gratts is tougher...Thornton is a smarter enforcer and more skilled forward who takes regular shifts
Good scrap between 2 true heavyweights. McGrattan wins this one.
Good fight, Parros early then Gratt's took over in the middle and the end, Narrow win for McGrattan.
GaryW - He got a puck in the face, not a punch. Kinda like in this fight. Parros took a lot of shots in the shoulder pads. Good defensive fight on his part.
Parros landed more
