George Parros vs Cam Janssen

Parros seems to offer up a lid toss to Janssen off the top,
but when the latter refuses, Magnum rips it off for him.

I'm really surprised at the one-sided nature of this fight,
despite the fact that Barney Rubble seemed to give it everything he had.

Props to both guys for an exhausting effort.

Cam, you lost.

Win for Parros despite a few good punches at the end by Jannssen. Strange strategy, get pummeled for a minute with the rope a dope and hope to land some late ones.

Parros shows some good endurance to keep up with Janssen.
I like Parros's strategy to go with the body punches and then go for the head when Janssen defensively goes upright.
Janssen does a good job switching to the left for a brief comeback.
However, Parros gets the win ... hands down.
Rounding it off to a generous 8 as well.
Props to both !

I have to give Janssen credit- he hangs in there in every fight. He can really take a punch. However, he doesn't know how to throw one. W Parros.

parros dominated that one until the end, when janssen managed to land a couple. kind of funny to see janssen get put on his ass and still tell the refs to piss off. calling it an 8, win to parros.

Diehard born and raised Red Wing fan growing up and watching Probie and Joey as a kid, and i have to admit, when Cam drops the gloves it is just as exciting as when the Bruise Brothers used to back in the day. Cam is a gamer. Guys got as much guts, toughness, and showmanship as anyone in the game today.

Parros suprisingly looked good in this scrap and gets the slight edge.

Grapple till exhaustion with Parros getting the better of the punches and Janssen's waiting strategy failing as it does 70% of the time.

Parros threw till his fists turned into magical unicorn pillows. Jansen with the vaunted conditioning didn`t do too much at the end either, getting punched and manhandled all fight would do that I suppose. Win Parrroossss .....

Solid fight. Parros far more active and show's a strong jaw late as Janssen wakes up and lands a few bombs.

I like how the St. Louis announcers try to say how tough Janssen is and how he threw "so many haymakers" while Parros was "mostly jabbing" when Janssen clearly lost that fight.

Janssen seems to be in somewhat of a slump and Parros has had a better year of being able to stand up. Win Parros.

Janssen's strategy of taking a bunch of punches early and trying to come on late has not been working this year. I think he needs to try to stay out of the heavyweight division.
