OK, where do I start? First off, Draw...as for those saying Thornton "punked" out and was affraid, please check out his career fight card, I dont think you can say he is affraid of anyone, he has faught them all...as for this bout, both landed a few decent ones, hence the draw. We might as well face it, Thornton might be the face of the enforcer going forward, meaning he can play, and fight when called upon, against anyone...He is a believer in the code, and a big believer in "what goes around, comes around"...He is aware of how dangerous Orr is, who isnt? Dont think any inforcer in the league wants to be on the other end of a blind punch, and Thornton knows this as well as anyone....As odd as it was to see, he did the right thing. Bet this fight is front and center at the GM meetings, regarding fighting. Good job ST...May seem homerish, but its not, I like Orr also, just the truth.

Draw..... screw the code ... fight and throw until they pull you off someone.

Thornton had him beat, good job following the code. He scores what I think is an upset, given how big Orr is.

And mcb, just shut up. The Habs aren't even involved here.

Edge Orr. Thornton did give him a break and kept code by stopping when Orr's sweater was over his head. Nevertheless, edge Orr with the flusher shots.

I thought Thornton had the narrow edge in this one. These two guys are my favorite fighters at the moment. They'll take on anyone and do well at it.

Classy by Thornton, although jack Edwards would claim Orr tapped out.

Clqssy move by Thornton but that does not give him a win. This was a draw all the way as no one landed anything of any significance....

Whoever voted for Thorton clearly is a Bruins fan. It was an obvious Draw. Just because a jersey comes up over someone's head doesn't mean they lost the fight. Look at the punches landed by both guys.

Very classy by Thornton though.

Okay, all you Bruins haters whining about the homers on this site, you are no better. Make an attempt at being somewhat objective if you have the mental capability to do so. This is a draw for no other reason than the refs stopping the fight because of the jersey over Orr's head.

Pepsi, you stupid imbecile, how do you figure Thorton planned to pull the jersey over Orr's head when they all wear the strap that prevents just that? Oh, let me guess, Thorton undid it first while hugging Orr?? You are a complete moron to even post crap like that. I'd love to put you out on the ice in the middle of those two just to watch them beat you into the ice, and yes they would beat you into the ice because they would disregard the code.

It looked like a good fight until the jersey came up. It was even when they were seperated. They should let them fight. Draw.
