Why did Polak try that?

Posted by lovejoy on December 08, 2008 at 03:32 AM

Polak is rookie non-fighter, hard to tell, why Carcillo chose him.

Posted by aces50 on December 09, 2008 at 12:33 PM

Carcillo doesn't even get tired out. One punch and down. Big boys are lucky this guy isn't about 3 inches taller and 25 lbs heavier.

Posted by Behn Wilson on December 07, 2008 at 11:38 PM

Who the hell is Roman Polak? Easy, if not unjustified, beating.

Posted by Gunslinger on December 07, 2008 at 10:09 PM

When in Rome, do what the Roman does and lose badly and quickly.

guys better tie up Carcillo's right from now on, or get ready to get smoked

Posted by shane0mack on December 07, 2008 at 09:03 PM

Posted by RykerHC on December 08, 2008 at 07:32 AM

Polak bit off more than he could chew.

Take from a guy that sees Daniel Carcillo at every home game. The Kid is a human wrecking ball. This dumb a** had no idea what he just got himself into.

DaBomb, you must be a fan of a team who's constantly getting their @sses kicked by DC, as you can see I'm a Kings fan and I love Carcillo. .............CARCILLO; knockin' mufukas out!

Posted by BSTnougat on December 08, 2008 at 08:41 PM

Wow. Completely turtled. He had no business going with him and DC showed him why.

Posted by DaBomb1 on December 07, 2008 at 08:39 PM

I don't like Carcillo, but he gets the win here.

Posted by smichaels10 on December 12, 2008 at 09:29 PM

Who voted for Polak? He must have voted for himself.

Posted by Bloodbank on December 08, 2008 at 03:16 PM

What? No votes for Polak? j/k

Posted by stizzo on December 08, 2008 at 06:25 AM

Posted by DetroitIan on December 08, 2008 at 12:57 AM

Another win for Carcillo.

Carcillo, dominating W #2 on the night

Posted by blues10 on December 09, 2008 at 10:32 AM

Cracillo with the Joey Kocer right hand. nuff said.

Posted by neutralfighter on December 07, 2008 at 08:34 PM

I love Carcillo. Maybe the Blues should stop fighting him.

Posted by bruins rule on December 07, 2008 at 09:33 PM

carcillo with another win in the same game.

Posted by Livennjoy on December 08, 2008 at 11:11 AM

Carcillo shows some class refraining from the easy shot he could have taken as Polak sits his butt on the ice. The scene from Heartbreak Ridge with "Gunny Highway" and "Swede" comes to mind as Gunny tells Swede in the raspiest Eastwood tone to lift his chin higher before he lets him have one last one right on the chin. Carcillo has more of the crazy Charles Bronson look though.

Posted by sabersfan4life on December 09, 2008 at 12:48 PM

wow 2 ko in one game good god Carcillo save some of the ko for good fighter lol

Posted by SirYohans on December 09, 2008 at 10:45 PM

And Carcillo does it again. This guy's awesome.

Posted by blackgoldfan on December 08, 2008 at 10:22 PM

wtf was polak thinkin? carcillo destroys him as he probably should.

Posted by Thunder Cat 2 on December 08, 2008 at 03:53 PM

2 fights to easy wins. That right hand is deadly.

Posted by TheAsianator on December 07, 2008 at 08:51 PM

Easy win for Carcillo

Posted by Tilty McTangle on December 08, 2008 at 02:49 PM

Who needs a heavyweight on your team, when you have a middle weight that destroys kids like this. The Polak beat down was nice, but handling BJ with ease shows that he knows how to throw em.

Posted by SCOTTSO on December 07, 2008 at 09:52 PM

DOUBLE TKO DC

Posted by FlyerPhanatic on December 08, 2008 at 02:57 PM

2 for 2 on the night neither one was close

Posted by kcrod on December 09, 2008 at 12:00 AM

This Carcillo is pretty tough. I bet DJ King wishes he was healthy to have a go with him. I'm thinking that would be a good bout.

Posted by heyohmama on December 08, 2008 at 01:41 AM

not even close

Posted by philabronc on December 08, 2008 at 10:40 PM

Two fights, two knockouts for Carcillo in this game.

Posted by audix2359 on December 07, 2008 at 11:34 PM

Carcillo all the way.

Posted by jaswa on December 08, 2008 at 11:22 AM

Carcillo is on a roll lately. Love this guy's style and grit...he has great balance on his skates while throwing those bombs. He's a top 5 middleweight by now.

Posted by jbzig on December 09, 2008 at 12:13 AM

Carcillo is really a great guy for hockey. He's a great middleweight and those are hard to come by. They are great because they will just fight anyone at anytime. There is just not enough of that in today's game. Carcillo in a good clean pounding.

Posted by kaiserwillbert on March 04, 2009 at 02:28 PM

lovejoy, what on God's green earth are you talking about? "Hard to tell why Carcillo chose him". Probably something to do with the fact that Polak almost blindsided him, as the announcers were discussing for about the last quarter of the video.
