Better punches at the beginning by Thornton...he gets the edge.

Thornton at first, with Laraque closing it out. Didn't exactly ever see how George ended up on his butt to start, but it was very obliging, and some might say stupid, of Thornton to let him back up.

Draw, plain and simple.

i would go with a draw....they both landed shots in the early flurry but tough to tell who did better...George kept busy in the middle of the fight but most of his shots didn't appear to land or landed on the back

kind of a 5 out of 10 fight....would have like to see the initial exchange go longer it was a very promissing start but as usual with BGL it got boring fast

Thornton gives up plenty of size to Laraque and he was fighting with his right hand the whole time despite being a lefty. He managed to eek out the win. He also gets points for not falling on Laraque when he was down like 90% of the guys in the league would've.

Laraques a beast, but Thornton threw his ass into the boards. Laraque won it at the end though.

to me it looks like thornton is just tryin to prevent BGL from scoring the big haymaker. after they get up all i see is BGL poundin away and thrnton tryin to keep up with it

a clear win for BGL

Thornton landed the better shots, as BGL mostly tried to club the back of his head. Win Thornton.

THornton seems to know how to get a good jump on Laraque but Laraque came back strong and I give him a narrow win. This may be the year Laraque loses though. He's so strong but for a fighter his age may become a factor. 32 is not real old but he's not young like Orr, Godard ,Cote and so on.

Thornton landed less, but his shots were better in my opinion.
