who would have thought this match up would occur? Not much of a "fight"

As Lappy briefly slpips into a Crombeen jersey and upgrades his dental plan for the first round...for the first time ever, someone named Marion appears on HF.

Draw. How many fights has Gaborik had, none? And LaPuke is supposed to be an enforcer?

Laperriere is a really big p*ssy for punching Gaborik.

WOW Gabby! Lappy gets some nice gloved punches in. Gabby with 2-3 bare nucklers. DRAW!

How in the Hell can anyone call that a win for Gaborik? An unbalanced coupling for sure, but Gaborik did nothing that I saw.
And what's with all of the childish personal attacks here? Yeah the bias is absurd but grow up!

Should have been just roughing minors. Nice to see Gaborik hang tough though, something we never knew about until now. Good prelude to playoffs.

I knew it would be something like this once I saw Gaborik's name here.

The refs and linesmen race to protect Gaborik just like they would any "star" player which shows an obvious favoritism. Blech.

Anyway, props to Gaborik for tossing some punches and not backing down. I imagine he would have gotten pretty dinged up in a prolonged fight with Lappy.

I'm sure the Wild fans are going apeshyt because of this which I think is great since they are the worst homers ever.

By the way, changed from a draw to a win for Lappy as I said, the homer idiot Wild fans actually vote for Gaborik to win this "fight". What a focking joke you people are. MN Bonecrusher, Wildfan4eva, you're a joke, you're not even real hockey fans, just punks who only see one team or one player and whack it to posters of Boogaard in your mom's basement. Pathetic.

Props to Gabby for standing up to Laperriere(should be LaDERRIERE seeing as he's made an ASS of himself), though it wasn't much of a fight. He wanted the captaincy, and now he's earned it. I wouldn't expect the captain of my team to back down from ANYONE...let's see how Laderriere fares when he's got Boogaard, Simon and Fedoruk gunning for him. And being a Wings fan, this doesn't really surprise me one bit...I'm just glad he didn't turtle like another Av-Not of lore. Then again, that could always change...
