What a go by Downey! So great to see Downey dominate Parros like that. Sorta helps ease the frustration against the refs for stealing the game from the Wings.

Parros has the worst balance and skating ability i have ever seen

Wow I am shocked that George lost this one. Downie hit him more then threw him down.

Downey is a decent lefty. Wins that one hands down.. no pun intended.

Downey got a clear win over Parros.
He was only one who landed a punches.
He was active too.

This is what I love about hockey fights. On any given night, the underdog can win.

Clear win Downey!

Parros hasn't done well since the uppercut against Cote. Downey handles the bigger opponent. George's balance is terrible.

To my man from Shelburne, Downey!

To bad Stache lost his balance. Downey landed a couple good ones, gotta give him the win. If George stays up, I think it's a different fight but as I keep telling a lot of you out there, reality and fantasy are 2 different things.

Downey wins. Red Wing management, I hope you took note. The crowd was cheering like someone scored the winning goal in the cup finals. You don't have to hire some outside guru to figure out how to put more butts in the seats. It's time to put a team on the ice that can hit back hard, fast , and in the case of Anaheim, dirty. All the fancy crap in the world is no substitute for grit.

Don't let the size disparity fool you here...Downy is a gamer and has always been a tough fight for any opponent! When he played for the Providence Bruins he instilled fear throughout the AHL and fought everyone he could get his hands on, so this beat down on Parros does not surprise me at all.

Gotta give credit to Downey...he'll fight anybody. he landed 4 or five solid knocks to the chin. The Wings have needed this kinda toughness for years. With Cleary gone for much of the rest of the season after taking that puck to the face...I really hope Kenny H. gives McCarty a true tryout with the team after the trade deadline. I'd love to have 2 guys on the wings with legit reputations as enforcers going into the playoffs. Can 't wait for the day when Big Mac pounds buttpronger's head into the ice for being the classless jerk (although talented...would love to have him on the wings) that his is. Go Wings!

Parros is on a cold streak after the Cote fight.

I Loved it!!! Downey is showing his teammates he's got their back by kicking the porn stach's aaasssss. It was funny watching Parro's gladly accept to fight only to catch a flurry of left's to his dome. GO REDWING's
