Excellent fight. Shed the visors and throw down, a perfect example of why Iginla and Phaneuf among others are cowards. Good toe to toe witha few shots landed by each.

Smid landed one more "bigger"blow than Backes. "Backes should keep his gloves on".. Why? he handled himself rather well here.

All of Smid's punches hit the back of Backes head. Backes landed 4 solids to Smid's face. Win Backes.

This is a draw. Backes jerked Smid's head back with a few punches early and Smid got going later on. Average fight by non fighters.
