Not a good fight, more weak than OK.
Hugging, hugging and hugging.
Edge Phaneuf to controlling at Veilleaux.

I would have gave the Win to Phaneuf. But the PUSS kept his helmet and visor on the entire time. Therefore, DRAW.

Phaneuf gets the win, but tsk, tsk for fighting with a visor. Yeah, he didn't have time to take it off, but he's fought with it before when he had time to remove it. And fight a real fighter sometime.

Lose the helmet with visor Phaneuf...it's not like you were ever in danger of getting tagged by Veilleux. Fight was all Phaneuf but I don't like the fact his "armor" was still on his nugget...at least Veilleux was helmet-less!

Good on Veilleux for going after Phaneuf, but not smart. It was a mismatch from the get go. I hate the flames, but Phaneuf is a gem. I would like to see him show up for the playoffs some time though.

Kudos for sticking up for your teammate. Next time, use more punches and less blocking with your face.

Oh give it a rest you whining dumasses.. He got jumped, how the hell's he supposed to take his visor off? 90% of Phaneufs fights are him getting mugged after he cleans a guys clock with a clean hit, hardly fair to expect him to hit someone then rip his helemt off anticipating a scrap. And for the asshat complaining about him not fighting real fighters.. I guess Lapierriere, Getzlaf, Jackman, Bell and Guerin are just a bunch of nancies, huh?

***-neuf. Nice visor.

Phaneuf needs to step up and answer the bell with someone who can actually fight. He only drops his gloves with guys he knows aren't really fighters. The way he plays he should take off the visor a face up to a real challenge.

Those that say it was a cheap shot on Foy by Phaneuf, watch closely, Foy turned. Just like Don Cherry says, its stupid, and he deserves to get hit like that. It was close to the boards anyways, not a few feet away in the danger zone. As for those that think Dion picks his fights, why not. Here he got jumped, didnt have time to take off the helmet. Why should he anyways? He is reaching star status, and doesnt need to be hurt fighting all the time. He answers the bell when he needs to. As for thinking Boogaard should take care of things, he should concentrate on trying to beat Godard for once first.

Hit from behind? Please, Foy turned at the last second.
Take the visor off? Dion got jumped.
Veilleux apologized in the paper today for getting his ass whipped and sparking the Flames for 5 straight goals to win the game.
I can't believe some of you @%ckers actually voted for Veileux.
What a joke.
