That was a very good fight. Early on the both landed a shot at the same time. Phaneuf's shot was better. Doan looked a little stunned, but he hung in there and got back in the fight. Later Doan lands a nice upper cut and takes over to edge Phaneuf. I think that both of these guys are easy to dislike unless they are on your team then you love them.

I'm here in Phoenix but I thought it was a draw. Phaneuf landed two right away but Doan landed a couple as it went on. I don't dislike Phaneuf, but he did seem ready to bail at the end. Doan doesn't drop the gloves much anymore, but he still is a tough guy.

I'm a little confused why so many are voting Doan as the winner... I guess taking overhand rights to the face proves you're the tougher fighter.

Its funny how little people that post in these reviews know about hockey. Dion "picks" weak players to fight? His last 3 fights he got challenged. And Doan is NOT a finesse player!! And to the people who call Phaneuf a goon... Hes 22, been in the all star game and was 3rd in rookie of the year voting. Not to mention his ability to score... but ya hes a goon..? Its actually funny to read the dumb things these "hockey buffs" say in these dumb reviews.

People have been trying to appoint Phaneuf the new Scott Stevens since he was a Junior. He has the occasional big hit but he defnately is no Stevens when it comes to dropping the gloves. Called this one a draw, looked like it was going to be a good bout then turned into somewhat of a hugfest.

Wow, I thought the Flamers only fought witht heir helmets on...

Doan landed the nice upper cut, but Phaneuf landed a nice punch towards the end as well.
