Mike Richards vs Shane Doan

There's no love lost between these two. Last spring in the playoffs Doaner viciously bulldogged Richie down to the ice on a faceoff and this time he just spanked him. Of course I question why a team's best player would take himself out of a game with five minutes left and your team down two goals.

Why does Richards try to fight, always takes a beating, luckily he got off easy that time.

Doan uses some frustration to overpower Richards.

Doan with the size and strength advantage, tosses Richards around. I did like Brown getting planted though, "have a seat..." Too bad Richards had to fight the battle.

Pretty pathetic that Mike Richards has to fight Dustin Brown's battle from last year in the playoffs because Brown is too big of a coward to deal with Doan himself. Speaks volumes as to who the real leader is in that LA Kings dressing room.

That's about the preview frame I expected to see when I read the matchup.

With all the opportunistic charging and boarding Dustin Brown does it would have been nice to see him challenge Doan if he took umbrage with the treatment the Yote captain dished out to him along the boards. Win Doan.

Win For Doan maybe Brown didn't fight because Doans hit was clean and he didn't want to whine like a Bitch like the Yotes did last year in the playoffs. Oh Browns got a ring and Doans doesn't I'll take Brown
on my team anyday.
