Todd Fedoruk vs Craig Weller

Weller is on the blue line taking a pass and slapping the puck into the zone when Fedoruk checks him hard into the boards. Play continues for about 5-10 seconds before both players fling the gloves off and square off near the blue line in the Stars defensive zone. Weller comes with a left jab, missing as Fedoruk ducks and leans down and forward. Both players are in tight and grappling when Weller throws 2-3 left hooks connecting with some of those. Fedoruk continues to keep in close-trying to tie up Weller as he pushes him onto the boards. With Wellers back against the glass, they continue to grapple for a brief time. Fedoruk gets his right arm loose, but not enough as he can't come around full force with his right punch-Weller still has a pretty good grip here. Weller connects with a solid right, then he throws mutliple uppercuts and right crosses-most of them connecting as Fedoruk is bent over-Wellers left hand behind Fedoruks neck. Fedoruk continues to attempt to throw unsuccessful rights-all missing their target. Then, it looks like Weller throws Fedurok to the ice and the linesmen separate them.

Despite of what I have been reading recently, Weller did not "drop" Fedoruk with a punch. He gets the takedown. Regardless, Weller wins this cleanly, no edge. Weller handles himself well here. Weller, a player who occasionally fights in the NHL, has a solid showing against a HW legit enforcer.
