Feb 5, 2004 Philadelphia Flyers Todd Fedoruk
3pd 13:47 Atlanta Thrashers Francis Lessard
These two drop the gloves in front of the Philadelphia net and Lessard gets started quickly with three lefts. Fedoruk comes back with a few lefts of his own before Lessard again gets a the left going and lands nicely. They tie up briefly, but quickly get loose and land several lefts each. At this point they open up and are throwing large left haymakers that aren't landing cleanly. After another brief tie up, Fedoruk gets the advantage and lands a few hard lefts that open Lessard up pretty severely above his eye. Lessard responds with a few parting shots over the top, but the damage was done in a great heavyweight battle.

Just a great scrap!!!!! Had to watch a bunch of times ....Im not arguing with anyone on how they call this ( win for either or draw)
except for anyone who tries to say that one guy laid a beating on the other cause this baby was Close and the blood doesnt matter...
Both Gents landed well and iM GIVING THE very slight EDGE to the bloody Lessard

They puts a great show.
Lessard landed more, but got bloodied.
No soft punhces here.
A draw, maybe slight edge/edge Fridge as he bloodied Lessard.
But i choice a draw.

Wow....great fight. Despite the cut, I can't pick a winner from that. Both standing and throwing until they simply wore out and both skated away. If that last punch knocks Lessard down, win for Fridge but it didn't so a draw.

Lessard landed a lot more and more solid punches then Fedoruk. Have to go with Francis this time.

I have to go with Fedoruk on this one, even though it was pretty close. I also hate Lessard due to his cheap playing style in the AHL, he's a bum I'm glad he cut his face.

i say it was a draw. two heavy weights exchanging, punch for punch. no wrestling involved. just because one guy is cut doesn't mean he loses.Lessard was leading but Fedoruc came back in the end.

great fight. good punches from both sides. edge to Fedoruk though - his punches drew blood and also seemed to knock Lessard off balance at times whereas Fedoruk seemed to be taking his share of punches without a problem. good to see him back to normal after Orr had his way with him.

Win the Fridge. Lessard landed more shots but Fedorok came on midway through and landed the harder punches which landed flush on Lessards mug and taking over the fight. Miss the days of the Philadelphia Phantoms when these two joined Boulerice and Belanger to make one of the toughest teams ever in the AHL.
